I'd invest in a Gik at my local short-time hotel once a week. At 2k a pop (including room and tip) that would last me 10 years.

  • Nothing. People are broke.    I'd rather put it in a Japanese bank and get a negative interest rate than invest here.

  • A hospital chain in Isaan for sick buffaloes - there seems to be a big demand for this.

In selling girls online - it's one of the very few profitable businesses in Thailand.

You will lose your investments in any other business here with 99% probability.

maybe because great idea's are 2 a penny? it's the execution that counts ????

my fav investments right now (based on my own and friend's recent experiences):

multi-family dwellings (apartment blocks) - standard 5K/month jobs, 10+ rooms, easy to run & hold their value

land (on the outskirts of major cities, bought from grannies in mom and pop stores!) - longer term play but LOTS of bargains around, stick pineapples, mangoes on them for some yearly income too

  SET - at 1300 i'm liking it

You can buy bars and restaurants cheap in the moment.

I am sure with many of them you will be able to make good money. It's just a question of how long you have to wait for that.

Molotov cocktails ????

I would invest in my future while I am alive here and that of my family. Then put in a trust for the family after I am dead.

Someone had some advice on another tread about investing it all in Powerball..............................:coffee1:

A few million?I know because of the worst joke thread that a few meas four.

Look it up if you don't believe me.

I would wander over to Pattaya and look for a gogo bar for sale, not to difficult i would think.

I would first make sure all of the girls are up to standard and then execute my business plan.

Ten to twenty % off for all tv members, free beer for people who do not drink alcohol and if you barfine four

girls in a week one of the cleaners will come to you house the next day and look after your house and do the laundry.

There would also be a trade,(up or down)possible of your beloved(or no longer so)items.

I am sure there would be no lack of customers so i will be filthy rich real soon.

lol.

By the time you start to make money the lease will probably have expired and you'll have to pay "key money" again.

Personally I'd invest in hookers and blow.

Find someone who can get a licence. Partner up and get in to medical Cannabis etc.

Joking apart I've got my eye on a couple of villas, one needs a few quid spending on it I'm OK with that so at 50% off

Most nice your business is that you can "test drive" your girls.Even every week if wanted. And new workers "interview" is not that kind what you make whit your pans on!

I'm not sure something owned by someone else counts as an investment.

Sterling. Open a FCA with a Thai bank

I second that idea.

Alternatively; buy and hold gold or gold stocks - that's what Warren Buffet is doing.

Agreed - <$2,000 gold and <$30 silver is cheap -

I'd invest in a Thai police franchise. It's one of the few businesses in Thailand that seems to reliably make money, no matter what the economic or political environment!

LOL, No $2000 is at the top of the range, could go slightly higher but not much room for growth. I wouldn't be investing at present. wait for the global recession to take affect and the bubble that is the US stock market to burst.
