Amazing Thailand.  Inactive posts or termination and forfeit of their retirements.  Which one will it be, or swept under the rug as a misunderstanding.  You can not make this up.  Such a corrupt nation, its no wonder the common people have nothing for their future and why the students are protesting.  Guess with Covid no one was able to buy their promotions so the upper echelon needed the money themselves that they would normally get and disenfranchised all of the subordinates.

Insatiable greed! Just can't help themselves, now off to the temple to make some merit! ????

Amazing Thailand.

In a normal country, they would declare: "ALL corrupt policemen WILL face criminal action"

They just can't help it, can they?

How  many bosses in Western countries would steal the overtime pay or bonuses of their staff?

They should all be sacked. No inactive posts.

colonels and generals, gimme a break, they may just be the cleverest from their village, money grubbing a************holes.

The only hope for Thailand is to completely disband the police force and start again (I believe Hong Kong did something similar decades ago). But they would also need to do the same with the army otherwise they would just move in and fill the void.

....oh look..mine.

Same as it ever was.

Corrupted elite rule the day.

A lot, if you read about how various franchise chains underpay their staff in Australia.

Corruption is everywhere, it's just more blatant here.

It really is disgusting, words somehow fail me.

It's a dog eat dog world we live it.

Whats more annoying is nothing will be done about it, The poor people are suffering enough you've got no <deleted> shame

Sad as it is to say, no one should be surprised to hear such news, as we all know that it is absolutely all around us, going on night and day. Every official who can graft some coin is doing so.

The only surprise in the matter is that "some" of those at the trough have been actually been called out. Must have been really going for it, or not passing enough along and upward.

It is so endemic in making the wheels go around that it is difficult to know how to begin to break the cycle.

will they be sacked with immediate effect - we can't have senior police committing criminal acts in Thailand now can we

  • Popular Post

But dont they have a right to embezzle, bribe, lie and extort.........thats what they paid for to have their position with the RTP isnt it??

The true face of Thailand shinning so bright.

A lot of outrage on this forum. I didn’t realize the love was so strong for the police.

I think it is funny, cops ripping off cops.

Better than them ripping off the citizens.

I couldn’t less about them.

Nice little rort.

If they have no qualms about ripping off their own there can't be the merest twinge of conscience about ripping off the general population.

Depressing.

So, where are all those chaps who are so quick to accuse us of knee jerk, xenophobic, paranoid Thai bashing ( I paraphrase content from another thread earlier today, about Covid vaccination availability in private hospitals as I recall) when anyone suggests that corruption may be a feature of any activity here?

surprised they hadn't absconded with their little Corparals' Nitrile glove allotments... and it was those which were found at the repackaging perps factory

Reinforces the widely held belief that this lot are nothing but a criminal gang in uniform.

Safety in numbers....189...not enough prison cells.

A wai will work out, as usual.

Long live corruption!!

Sixty million of the general population let them do it...hard to feel any sympathy!
