Monk trapped in flooded cave in Thailand’s Phitsanulok province

A forest monk, who took refuge inside a cave in Noen Maprang district of Thailand’s northern province of Phitsanulok during a pilgrimage, has become trapped by flood waters.

 

Rescue workers were rushed to Phra Sai Ngarm cave this afternoon (Tuesday), after they received a distress call reporting that the monk had become trapped following heavy rain.

All joking aside, I was trapped for 26 hours in a flooded cave in NZ with 3 others.

We had some food & plenty of carbide so we stayed comfortable & dry  if not a bit cold

Water all around to drink, but frighened would be an understatement

Too bad they don't have that Chinese submarine yet.
