Crime Suppression Division police arrested a 40 year old man in Bang Krasor, Nonthaburi after he had been on the run for twenty years for molesting a child. 

 

A warrant had been issued in 2001 after Jumphon or Ot indecently assaulted a 14 year old girl in Chiang Saen, Chiang Rai in the north of Thailand. 

 

He had been a construction worker there and fled after the parents of the child filed a complaint against him, report INN News. 

 

The suspect who reportedly admitted the crime was traced to the Nonthaburi area and is now headed back to face prosecution in the north.

In this case, hopefully there isn't.

Child  molesters tend to keep on molesting, so this man had 20 years to perfect his technique of destroying lives, assuming that he was not framed for original charge, Thai style.

Good luck with his new mate in jail. 

If he is actually guilty of the offence, it would be nice if the police would put him out the back strung up to meet the father of the alleged daughter he raped.

 

The father could then polish up on his punching bag technics, and when he has broken enough bones, they could allow the alleged daughter to finish the job by taking to him with bamboo stick, just to make sure he doesn't dose off, starting at his privates, then when done, dump him in a field in the middle of the day for the vermin to finish him off.

Hi-sos usually they get away with offences after 20 years as the statute of limitations has expired after that long even for murder. He probably doesn't have a good legal team.

He was 20 years old. She was 14. Seriously doubt this guy is a "child molestor" who has spent 20 years "perfecting his technique". More likely he was an excessively horny 20 year old moron. Still, he should be properly punished for the act that he committed - no excuses for that.

If it was rape could also have been that it was a romance and she got pregnant and he did not want to marry. Then its automatically child molesting. Not saying this is a good thing just that the age difference might indicate something else.

 

If not then put him in jail for a long time if it was a "true rape"

I believe you’re right he may not have known her age until the young ladies parents found out. But if he did in fact rape or molest her I hope he gets what’s coming to him in a Thai prison 

The RTP must have the same motto as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, "we always get our man". Eventually, before the warrant expires, when we're bored, if we fancy a change of scenery etc etc.  ????

I thought it was 15 with the parents consent, but she was 14 so defo illegal, plus it says sexually assaulted so probably no consent and in law a minor cannot consent, so it's rape even if she did.

Typically not anywhere. Once a warrant has been filed the clock stops. Fleeing doesn't change that.
