CCTV from a couple of angles published by Daily News showed the middle of the night moment when a ten wheel truck collided with a pick-up that was turning right.

Pakorn, 32, driving the Ubon registered truck had gone through a red light.

Janthara, 49, a female trader was on her way home and turning right on green in her Mitsubishi.

Both drivers were severely injured.

Pakorn lost control of the truck and plowed into a motorcycle dealership and a loans' office by the side of the road.

Per TIT textbook procedure, blame everything else besides yourself..

Per TVF textbook procedure.

Make something up to Thaibash.

Who is blaming "everything else"?

I hope both drivers make a speedy and full recovery.

This is why one should still always look when turning or proceeding on a green light. You should never, ever assume it is safe to proceed without checking first!

Back home that would be reckless driving by the lorry and driving with undue care and attention for the pick up.

"...driving with undue care [sic]and attention for the pick up".

If "back home" is the UK, a "driving without due care and attention" charge would be highly unlikely.

Who, are you claiming, has blamed who in this case?   Neither driver has been reported as blaming anyone else.

maybe neither can speak yet?

The other lorry driver seen the lights and stopped correctly,

the other crazy driver was going to fast to stop, he was one

of those " I think I can make it ", traffic lights and railway crossings,

no mention of "Brake failure", that might come later ????

Why ??

You do realise that I'm referring to the pickup driver with the lights in her favour, not the driver of the truck careering through the red light, yes?

Truck driver needs to be jailed for ignoring a red light like that. Pickup driver needs to be told a simple look across the junction would have showed her the truck bearing down on her.

If you jail every Thai driver who jumps a red light then there would be virtually no one left on the roads.  That would certainly help the accident level but make the prisons a little overcrowded.

Both drivers were severely injured. What's the manslaughter charge for if nobody died or did you just not read the post as so many dont and just want to make a baseless comment .

You are correct what you say . If the driver in the pick up truck doing the u turn dies then you are wrong . I certainly hope she survives . But when driving do not take green for gospel

Agreed, that trucker needs to be out of harms way for a year or two.
