Thai wife goes to education authorities to say her teacher husband is sleeping with 18 year old student

Daily News reported from Chiang Mai on a story about a female teacher who they just called "A" who went to the secondary school education authorities to complain about her husband "B" who she said was having a sexual relationship with one of his 18 year old students. 

 

A was with her personal lawyer called Watcharaporn Wong-inta who explained that "B' is a Thai language teacher in San Pa Tong district. 

 

Her client and B were legally married and had a four year old child. 

 

From March she noticed a change in her husband's behavior and suspcious movements so she checked up on his phone records. 

 

She found chat and posts on social media and video calls. Some showed the couple kissing in what looked like a resort or a hotel. 

 

After monitoring this for a while she confronted her husband and told him to desist.

 

Arguments developed and now she is seeking a divorce and custody of their child and child support payments.

 

Kittinan Intrakamhaeng received her complaint on behalf of the authority saying this, if true, was a serious breach of regulations regarding teachers.

 

He further revealed that the teacher concerned was already under investigation. A committee had already been set up to look into his activities and this latest information from the wife would now add to the committee's investigation.

A serious breach of trust, getting his leg over with a student, he needs taken away from teaching, as he cannot be trusted.

Half the teachers in Thailand would be under investigation if grassed up or caught with a student.

As a committee is involved, yet again, I suspect a wai or two and perhaps a small payment will end the matter.
