So now nobody states clearly, how many expected to genuine expats (not bogus and rich thai holding multiple passports. It well might be just in thousands, a token. One can suspect, a large part will go to army, police, civil servants - they were getting ready for mRNA for long. Many of them grabbed at early opportunity only sinovac, which turned up no so good for delta. The army even boldly requested 1mln moderna ordered to the Red Cross, to be transferred to their disposition 2

If they want the 2 items it should be possible to include or download 2 files. Didn't have your other issues though and actually thought things worked quite well at such short time. Let us hope it goes further..... I had the same problem with two files, so solution is to select both files (hold down ctrl key) and drag and drop both at same time.
Isaan sailor Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 I successfully registered yesterday afternoon. We’ll see what is offered when my vac day comes. For the Delta variant (now over 70% of new cases) I cannot find any studies that show any efficacy for the SinoVac. Nor could I find any studies of SinoVac doses into people over 60. if anyone can contradict this—please do. Good luck to us all.

Popular Post barefootbangkok Posted August 2, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2021 Although previous efforts to register foreign residents in Thailand have not been very successful, doesn't it make sense to encourage the efforts made rather to make sarcastic and insulting put downs? Obviously some Thais want to get registration for us accomplished. Unfortunately tech knowledge in Thailand isn't the best but the question is, do we want these well intentioned Thais to stop trying? 2 2

The only thing that bothers me is that the website and confirmation emails contained virtually 100% perfect English and everything was logical. You'd almost think (gulp) they consulted a native English speaker. Never happened before in the history of Thailand - it's almost too good to be true. Not just the website, but the MFA Facebook page where this was also announced had perfect English too. AND they had somebody promptly answering questions on the Facebook page in the same good English, on a Sunday ! 3

Some 24k patient files were not protected for over 40 minutes. And read all the 16 pages about registration process. Some gave up on it entirely. And still not much came up from those successfully registering - no any details whatsoever, as you would expect from a well conducted registration

I hate being negative but as someone who spent their whole life project managing IT systems, now I just shake my head. Some of this Pfizer is earmarked as a booster for medical staff so even if there are only a few foreigners in an area it “shouldn’t “ be a problem to add a few more doses when they do your local hospital staff. 1

I'm not expecting that here in Prasat but have alreaady said to b/f that, when we go along for mine, we'll inquire about one for him too. You never know your luck. cliveshep Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 I kept getting the "email already taken" messages yesterday and gave up. This morning 3 different e-mail addresses all had responses inviting me to register. So I did on 2 of them and in both cases registration successful. Couldn't be arsed to do it a 3rd time. Meanwhile on the news this morning all 18 vax centres in Bkk closed and appointments cancelled due to lack of vaccines. You couldn't invent this level of stupidity and outright criminal incompetence for a movie - no one would believe it. We are going to try Bang Sue tomorrow (Tuesday) am as based on my age (75), weight (100kg) etc should qualify IF the got any vaccines left. Did anyone see that pink pig in a tutu go flying past earlier? 2 2
Popular Post chalawaan Posted August 2, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2021 You could have knocked me over with a feather when I received a message from "CM wall" yesterdaay confirming an appointment with McCormick Hospital on Thursday for my Sinovax jab with AZ to follow 21 days later. I've said all along, it's better than nothing. Yesterday a UK friend also checked in to say that a mutual Polish friend had died in Poland from Delta, he was 50+ and fit, not just "healthy" sadly, he believed the vaccines would "kill us all in three years". Well, Delta got him in 4 days. Another UK friend in stuck in Joburg only has a headache from Covid. Such is this virus, it's a real gamble if you want to avoid any vaccines for fear of the consequences. Our mate is dead anyway, he made the wrong bet. 4 1 3

Data leak was fixed by 11:40 AM according to Richard Barrow who was one of the first to notice the problem. Access to the database webpage was shut off after a little more than half an hour. I wouldn't go so far as to assume that the data leak was (or has been) fixed. The programmers used a portion of the registration form's URL as the URL for the database admin page. Anyone who reached the form merely had to delete all but the first directory of the URL, and they reached a searchable database of everyone who had entered at least an email address (even email addresses that received the message "already taken"). I was able to search my email address and confirm all of my data from the full form was accessible by anyone, and I was able to confirm that my friend's 3 email addresses that received "alreay taken" were in the database. I'm sure they just hid the admin page or merely renamed it once they were informed that people discovered how to reach the page. Security of the underlying data is another issue completely and something I will never count on here. 2 1
