A 36 year old man called Sethawut is in the custody of the Lat Krabang police after a road rage incident was filmed.

He was carrying a gun and assaulted a female Grab driver before driving off in a Mitsubishi without his shirt.

The woman had pulled it off as the incident escalated.

Daily News said that the woman had blood on her head from the assault. Another video showed her using her phone with a head wound and blood covering her shoulder and face.

Other people at the scene including a security guard had tried to intervene.

Sethawut has been charged with four offences after the Minburi court issued an arrest warrant.

The charges are assault, criminal damage and two weapons offences.

These motorcycle delivery driver are a menace on the road....they are incentivised by their companies to drive a quickly as possible from call to call to maximise their income....so you have motorcycles driving like ambulances through the street. They need culling and reining in.

Well said.

Many Thai boys are raised like little princes and they learn from early on that they can do as they please and get away with everything. They are never taught that certain behavior has - or should have - consequences.

Yep. Not "ya ba" but "Ya baby" straight from mother's milk

Apparently there are some 5 million ya ba addicts in Thailand, so that’s certainly a possibility to reckon with. But ‘ya baby’, as you put it so aptly, seems more likely.

They had some more details in yesterday's Khaosod news.
The car driver, 36 year-old Setawud Phadeeun, confessed to the incident and said he will pay for all damages. As I understood it from the article, Setawud claimed it was sparked by the 49 year-old Grab driver getting in his way and cutting him up with her vehicle. He was also stressed about his electrical sales business and was just on the way to collect 30K Baht owed to him from a client.
At one point the Grab driver started rebuking him, causing him to lose it, get out the car and hit her on the head with his gun before fleeing the scene. He claimed it was an air gun (BB gun).
Setawud said he initially didn't realise it was a woman and thought it was a man.
She required 12 stitches for her head injury.
There's a small clip of him at the police station (shirt on this time), where for some reason he bought along his baby daughter.
