When it comes to theft and fraud, twenty nine year old Monchanok had it all, reported Daily News yesterday.

They used a term about having "18 crowns" in their headline - an expression reserved for the trickiest of thieves.

Monchanok, not surprisingly perhaps, denied everything.

She was named in a warrant issued in Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani, in 2012 for being involved in cat burglary and receiving stolen goods.

Cat burglary involves stealthily climbing upper stories of buildings, not the theft of felines notes ASEAN NOW.

She was finally arrested in Phanom Thuang, Kanchanaburi.

Back in 2012 police alleged that with two others she committed a large number of burglaries at wealthy people's houses.

Some were hit three times in 2 months after the gang returned.

Two men were arrested and hundreds of amulets, notebooks, cameras, gold, rings and electrical items were recovered.

But Monchanok got away.

Police dismissed her claims of innocence as nonsense believing her to have been involved with her boyfriend on a further string of thefts in Pathum Thani and Nakhon Nayok in 2012-2013 that netted millions of baht in stolen property.

The police also believe that since the start of the pandemic she has been involved in online sales fraud after a string of complaints from people naming her.

So, we all believe her to be guilty before trial do we? But the press have her name and photo for all to see.

What evidence do we have? An arrest warrant and the 'word' of our wonderful police force. ????

Ok, so it's likely that she committed the crimes but please let her go to court first.

She might have 'had it all' but by the look of her what she didn't have was a proper feed !

What would poor people have to steal?

My point exactly, yet mentioned in the report  " a large number of burglaries at wealthy people's houses. "(they are stating the damn obvious)

You'd think she could afford some knee pads to help while climbing.

And get a hair-do.

She could spend the rest of her life stealing and never come close to the thievery perpetrated by the RTP. The RTP hold the "government servants crown" for theft and organised crime, closely followed by sections of the military. The Thai political machine own the overall title of "king rat".

As she seems not to be connected to someone wealthy or powerful, I hope she

and her fellow thieves get lots of jail time at COVID central in Northern Thailand prison.
