PHUKET: The first tourists to arrive on the island under the new ‘Test & Go’ scheme landed at Phuket International Airport this morning (Nov 1).

 

A total of 229 foreign tourists arrived on Edelweiss Airlines Flight WK050 from Zurich, touching down at 8am, reported AoT Phuket.

 

Present to welcome the tourists at Gate 11 of the international terminal were staff from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Phuket Office and airline staff.

That's because us clever people will wait for the eager beavers to iron it out for us. Must be nuts to try do it in the first couple weeks, they probably bought the software from pattaya Tuk Com

3pm news reported that 3k arrivals have been processed through BKK so far, 9 hours to go for the remainder...

They were queueing. 

Soon 5000 planes will land.

What about the arrivals at Bangkok and Chiang Mai?

Zero in Chiangmai from another thread.

Even the taxi driver I used this morning thinks 2 more years for any significant increase in tourists.
