Thai immigration online 90 day reporting system

Featured Replies

Are they still doing the window of within 15 days but not in the last 7 days before the due date? Or, is it now just a straight 15 days before the due date?

  • Whether in person, in writing, or online, what the heck does the 90 day report serve to accomplish?  I could be living at a totally different address then the one shown to immigration.  Does it mean I

  • It has already worked for somebody that could no use the online reporting before. His report is pending now.

If you got the approval after applying it and got the password by email why were you trying to reset it.

It is not a one time passport. I have already used mine a couple of times.

If you submitter a report you sign in and click this. image.png.e46a75bf06ac049d96d7537fa474e1f4.png

So your saying that the password they sent, which I want to change, can not be changed and I have to remember the funky clunky password they sent?  If so that's fine I will put it in my password wallet.  Additionally what your saying is that there is no way to check the status of prior 90 days that have been competed like before.  That seems a little quirky in itself.  Always been able to check prior 90 days and the list goes back a fair amount.  The drop down on the program allows for up to 100, well it says it does.

Does make you look at it cross-eyed to read it.

Registered online.  Password returned in about 2 hours to regular inbox (not spam) from [email protected] .

For me, State/Province is Bangkok, City/Amphur and District/Tambon are both Phaya Thai (so the khwaeng for both -- the khet isn't used).

A drop-down of citizenship and place names appear if you click the search icon on the left of each entry field.

I got an immediate confirmation of submission by e-mail.  I show pending on the check your submission site.   A filled-in TM-47 are attached to the confirmation, and also available on the site.  I notice that some details are missing (e.g. visa type and arrival card number) but they didn't request that on the original form.

Oh -- I had my swiftest runner submit my last TM-47 in person for me 80 days ago, so I am back in the on-line system.

Fingers crossed,

--Retiree.

I have not submitted any application for the past 1 year because the previous system didnt worked.

Hopefully they will process mine this time.

Oh good! We haven’t had a new 90 day report system in at least 90 days.

Clearly, the record of your previous 90-day reports has not been entered into the new system (which does not surprise me). The system only knows about 90-day reports within its own database.

The report is sent to your local office for approval. They will verify your address used using their records.

Playing devil's advocate how would they verify the address?  If I put the address I have resided at previously on the record and then move to a new address but continue to put the old address on the 90 day report form, how would they catch that?

I have a prediction.

The new reporting system will function as effectively as an ashtray on a unicycle.

Agree. Which proves the point that the report is highly important and absolutely necessary to the smooth running of the kingdom. ????????????

If you do a yearly extension you need evidence the address is valid? Until then is no check is there?

For this new system there is an instruction manual that pops up when you first open/click on the TM47 icon.  Things like how to reset/change your password, notifications you can receive like approval of your report and a reminder it's time to submit your report again (15 days before due date), some reasons why the new system will not work like when changing/renewing your passport which then requires you to do the next report in person before you can report online again, etc...etc...etc.  See below quote of the manual.

The is a mandate in search of a need.

It makes Immigration feel Grand and Self-important. More importantly, it empowers them in their continual search for better and more complicated mazes for the foreign hamsters to run around in.

Looks like they might have slipped up this time, though - their APP (eek shriek shudder) appears to be working (mmmm?). Better make the most of it - they'll no doubt realise soon enough and fix it back to normal so it doesn't work.

They would check you main records for your current address if you had done a change of address if they did not match the previous 90 day report.

I got that the first time I tried it and did it again and it worked. It could happen if a lot of people were trying to do the same thing.

You cannot change to different password. It has to be then generated one they the send you by email.

At this time you can still check all of your previous reports on the old website.

So now we have "three" TM47_90 Days Address Reporting online methods/sites....all three trying to do the same thing but apparently don't interface with each other.....different people getting different results when trying to use them.  Hopefully the latest online method will work better than the two earlier methods which are still in use which seems to me can cause confusion for folks.  I wonder if immigration will kill off one or two methods at some point....only have "one" online site.

Three methods/sites discussed below:

1.  The Extranet web method (first one to be made available) which does not require registration/logon credentials.  This site never worked for me over the years after many, many tries to include just a few days ago.  I can reach the site no problem, but after entering the first page of 90 day report data a popup error message appears indicating a problem with my data and I need to report to my local immigration office. Tried IE, Chrome, Edge, etc.,..and entering the data in many, many different variations but I always end with the same negative result.

https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do

2.  The Immigration eService mobile app (second method....came out a few years ago).  Registration/logon credentials required which I obtained without issue.  But once again, just like method one above I would get the error message after entering the 90 day report data....message said to visit my local immigration office.  Tried it again just a few days ago...once again, error message saying I need to visit my local immigration office.

image.png.2fc47781610c768cb78f381f3573c832.png

3.  And now this brand new site as of 2 Dec 2021....the subject of this thread.  Registration/logon credentials required---different ones from credentials required for the eService mobile app mentioned above.   But this new third method does appear to work for me as I submitted a 90 day address report this morning...."did not get the I need to visit my local immigration office error message"....the report is currently in Pending status...hopefully it will get approved within 3 days as advertised.  Time will tell

I just tried to register, filled all the boxes along with the captcha letters. Then was taken to a page to type my e mail address and add a password. When I entered a password it told me invalid information. Do I need to wait for an e mail from them?

Maybe only the password is "invalid information" is because it is registered to someone else? Have you tried re- registering using a different password? Sometimes "Thaispeak"/translations can be misleading.

Re waiting for an email - I wouldn't hold my breath!

Is Thailand the only country in the world that does this? It's hugely draconian.

Are you copying and pasting your email address into the relevant boxes,  rather than actually typing them in?
