Sanook reported that a group of Thais opposed to vaccinations protested in front of Silom Complex in Bang Rak district of Bangkok on Saturday.

 

They had placards and were leafletting the public. 

 

Placards brought into question the official figures for complications and death from Covid-19 vaccine.

 

Some present claimed to have had relatives handicapped and even die as a result of getting vaccinated. 

 

Others claimed to have developed "natural immunity" without the need for vaccine.

The leaflets handed out had five specific points that posed questions to recipients.

 

These asked if people knew how many had really died from the vaccine, that Big Pharma was not taking responsibility, that the Thai government had paid out 712 million baht to victims up until December 3rd, that there are lots more cases but that people don't know where to turn for compensation and that did you know that you could be next?

 

In their report Sanook did not make it clear that these people were just opposed to compulsory vaccination - something that public health officials in related stories today said was not the case in Thailand.

 

Or were they opposed to vaccinations period. 

 

Their leaflets and rhetoric seemed to indicate the latter, notes ASEAN NOW.

Well, it's inconvenient to have to print your M.Sc. from YouTube University. Once they complete their research, they have a shot at the ultimate prize, the Herman Cain Award.

Assume that the "anti vaxxors" will refuse blood transfusions if they require major surgery or from an accident. With a large percentage of the population vaccinate most blood will be "contaminated" with the Covid antibodies. This will be their acid test on what they really want or believe. Then we will see if they are prepared to die for their misguided beliefs.

If government paid out over 700mil in compensation I'd like to know why. That's a pretty big number for a stingy government.

That's their freedom of choice, the post was regarding Covid vaccinations.

Becoming infected with COVID and surviving it which is more common than a lot of people seem to appreciate does indeed leave you with a degree of immunity, because if it didn't you would not recover.

I know of 5 or 6 cases where people in Thailand have died within a few days of a sino vaccine, yet every Thai I know and their families would be happy to receive a vaccine made in the west.

Awesome. Help is needed in COVID wards in South Africa. Could this gang be sent there to help? As they have natural immunity, no protective equipment is needed, which is another plus.

"I know" like you actually know the people who died?

Or "I know" because I read it somewhere on facebook?

I don't see a need to vaccinate young people. Minor upside aside from Big Pharma profits. Large health risk.

Natural immunity is what it's called when your body's immune system reacts to the presence of a virus by producing antibodies that can protect against that virus.

 

You appear not to know this.  So you're calling other people moronic for knowing something that you don't know?

You don't need a masters degree to know what natural immunity is.  It's basic high-school biology.  Your comment indicates you may not know this, so perhaps you didn't go to high school and therefore don't have old text books to refer to.  In this case this wikipedia page may be helpful: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immunity_(medical)#Naturally_acquired

This world has really gone upside down because politicians control the world.

 

Vaccination should be voluntary and not forced.

Natural immunity is always better than the vaccines. Vaccines are just a simulation of the real virus albeit a weakened form.

If they were happy to have their children vaccinated against polio and smallpox with vaccine products that went through a long testing regime and have been used in the market for decades BUT are not happy to have themselves or their children vaccinated with a product that was fast-tracked under Trump's Operation Warp Speed, and were only able to be used because the Emergency Use Authorization allowed normal safety protocols to be bypassed, then are they still anti-vaxx?

It does and those vaccines are great. If this is a good faith question and you are interested, the history of the decades - of injury, death and outrage - leading up to an acceptable polio vaccine is a very good read.
