In 1st place are the United States, followed by Australia, Finland and Canada. The 2021 Global Health Security Index, released on Wednesday, ranks 195 countries according to their capacity to respond to epidemics and pandemics, as assessed by John Hopkins Centre for Health Security, at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, and experts from numerous countries. Popular Post daveAustin Posted December 10, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 10, 2021 “Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha thanked all the frontline medical personnel and public health volunteers, everyone in the public and private sectors as well as the public for their cooperation in the collective fight to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, which has won worldwide recognition for the country.” Surveillance Data Accessibility and Transparency 86.7 ???? This is either a sham index or someone made a mistake. Thailand was way behind on preparedness and in getting vaccines out. It closed borders and sat on its hands. How can having a maximum capacity of testing 50,000 people per day out of a pop of 70M be an accomplishment? It has cooked the books in getting around the data on that onerous list. Jumping the likes Israel and China. Lol Next! 21 1

Popular Post Forza2002 Posted December 11, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 11, 2021 Singaporeans will pissing themselves laughing at how Thailand has been classed as no.1 in Asia by the Global Health Security Index. To be expected I guess, after all Thailand is the HUB of all things... 10 2

I’m sure your ‘data’ is accurate, I mean just look at China’s numbers…. If you believe that, you just lost all credibility. 7

Thailand has been known for years as one of the leading countries in dealing with tropical diseases and pandemics. If you like bashing a a country why not the UK. It has 15 times the amount of daily infections compared to Thailand. It is flip-flopped with a lot of confusing regulations and it has the highest death rate per capita in the world from the virus. The late rollout of vaccines was nothing to do with Thailand's health services. It was the present government who caused this and we all know why 3 2

Popular Post brianthainess Posted December 11, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 11, 2021 And first in being the most racist country in the WHOLE WORLD and to the best of my knowledge the ONLY country in the world to do that, for giving vaccines to foreigners leaving them to last, after making them jump through more hoops than a circus, and giving all personal detailed info on a site made just for them, that a lot of people could not upload all photos on. 5

Maybe I've misread the post but wasn't the ranking for countries ability in responding to the pandemic? Not the casualties per capita. Considering Thailand were still negotiating to procure more vaccine 2 years after the pandemic struck they surely cannot be labeled as quickly responding? ???? 4
