Tourist police spokesman Pol Maj-Gen Apichart Suribunya told INN that the tourist police were asking a police major in Pattaya to explain himself.

The major was seen negotiating or acting as an intermediary in the bust of a "sathan borigan" (place of prostitution) apparently owned by the cops.

Mjr Supharat will have to satisfy investigators there was no mischief afoot or he will face disciplinary charges or even be prosecuted.

Health insurance plans that meet the long stay visa requirements

Does "Sathan borigan" translate into "Satan's business"?

How dare he raid the Police business!

Those inactive posts must be available all over, haven't heard a long time that some was filled. What are they actually doing? Running the mob?

That is an interesting way to describe what has to be done.

Someone should go to the police and complain about this behavior!

Happens all the time, especially for gambling dens.  It's always a case of not passing the appropriate amount of gratuities up the chain of command or for operating in another copper's territory.  The BIB are extremely territorial as franchisees - similar to Soi dogs in more ways than one.

The more times people post that incredibly original thought the funnier it gets.

Is this the same story? Because it shows a police raid at a Pattaya nightclub after established hours and a customer/policeman trying to intervene. Nothing to do with a massage parlor.

"Sathan borigan" ('service place') refers to any establishment where "service girls" are available. That could mean nightclubs, bars, karaoke, barbershops, etc, in addition to massage parlors.

While doing “undercover” work?

This is another proud example of Prayut's untiring work in cleaning up corruption in Thailand.

They own a bar next door to the police station also.

Occasionally blaring music into the wee hours of the morning.

I'm sure they run many more lucrative business that I've frequented.
