Why, women appreciate poetry.  You didn't know that?

I once had the cutest little Italian doll you could imagine.  Asian body type; petite, slender and all of 152 cm.  She couldn't have been over 42kg.  And frisky.  We had an oh so short fling.  I caught her on the tail end of a 4 year high school relationship.  Her ex had regrets and wooed her away from me.

Anyway, she couldn't have been more attractive, both inside and out, and she was my inspiration for the only poem I'd ever written in my life.

I once knew this girl named Jo Anne,

She was as pretty as a new born lamb,

The girls wished,

That they were such a dish,

And the guys all dreamed,

Of her as their queen,

With those beautiful brown eyes,

Staring into their lives,

Who could resist,

A chance to be kissed,

My this beautiful miss,

Named Jo Anne.

Okay, get yer laughs in.  I ain't no Sir Thomas Overbury to be sure.  But she did look me in the eyes and confess to me that no one had ever touched her heart like that before.

So, overherebc, you might want to memorise a few verses of romantic rhyme.  Might come in handy some day.

I've got some old army poems committed to memory if you think thay might be a good idea.

One is called 'The chinese maiden'.

Im still hoping this is the last one, and share a future together as good as we can make it. Have memories and a common equal platform together. But I know it it is not going to last, it is going to be a new one, and it is easier for me, than her. Especially now she getting closer to her 40íes, she have to step up the game with an 10 year older man or mer maybe. I can go the other way, and still continue on prefered age that is 33 - 35 +-

The future is what you make it, and that starts with imagination.  The key to any relationship, more so that love in my opinion, is appreciation.  And there's always something to appreciate.

And so, thinking of you, I thought you might appreciate this.  And please don't get the idea that by enticing you in this way that I'm some kind of home breaker, LOL.

One thing that goes along with the looks is the feminine soft feel, aura, & appeal of a Thai woman....

Not to be overlooked/dismissed as weak - they are like ants in that regard = small, but mighty....

I've found Japanese women to be that way also, but to a lesser degree....

Yes, same here.

Even the hairy women don't have hairy legs or armpit hair.

Would you mind if I mention one more thing concerning how I really feel when reading a beautiful poem composed 400 years ago?

These days, when I read such beauty, utter beauty in fact, written 400 years ago, I feel such angst and sorrow.

There seems no balm now sufficient to cool my worried brow, and no female form alluring enough to distract me from my worry.

Of course, you realize that I am speaking of the impending melting of the Thwaites Glacier, and all the ice behind it, so soon to be added to our shores.

Also, speaking of krill, have you seen one, just how beautiful they might be, enlarged by the lens of a professional photographer?

I am worried, anytime I read books or poems written over 400 years ago, that 400 years in our future, it seems likely that nobody will be around to write anything.

This is why I am unable to look at beautiful women, because, mostly, I am thinking of the tenuous future of Antarctic kill.....

I wish I could just forget about the future, and concentrate more on near-term issues, mostly women.  I am sure that I could have a woman, probably tomorrow, if only I could focus on women, rather than on the desperate future which seems to be almost upon us now.

Krill are really beautiful, though....

Ye of little faith.  This world has shown through billions of years, through massive changes in continents and the oceans, that it can well take care of itself.  Man doth think too much.  And fills himself with too much importance.

For all of our advanced knowledge we have yet to understand to even a small degree what thoughts are, where they come from, and their effects.  Even though they course through our brains every waking second, and cannot be turned off, we are almost in complete ignorance as to why that is so and thus pay little, if any, attention to them.

In every moment there exists happiness.  In every moment there exists sadness.  In every moment we are faced with choice.  The choice to choose those thoughts which bring us to happiness or to choose those thoughts which bring us to sadness.  Thoughts manifest and true justice is then served for each and everyone.

A bit too abstract?  Nah.

Do tell.  The poem I recited I've had committed to memory every since I wrote it.  Not a big deal as it's short and the only one I've ever written.  And it was inspired by a woman!  Put an Italian face on her and this would be an almost identical picture of her!

Interesting to know what push people to make such art on their body. Thats what you call a piece of art, and not tramp stamps or tribe stamps some wannabees trying to copy from others.

I know, and that's fine by me. The Thai men can have the ones that stay out of the sun (the marzipan chocolates)

Exactly same in VN. Dark skin beware, country farm girls, I've seen women in VN + Cambodia using a razor blade to shave off the dark skin. The more wealthy use chemicals, they are painful.

Yes, I agree.

If you were less verbose...

But that would be impossible.

Still, thank you very much for your brief reply.

I hope to hear more from you soon. Very soon.

And, please stop worrying about planet Earth.

For some reason my parents gave me multiple middle names.  Verbose is one.  Wordy is another.  And then there's Longwinded.  Can't forget about Rambling.  My name seems to have something to do with my fate.

I would be the last man worrying about Mother Earth.  Neither do I worry about Man.  Or much else, really.  It's all good.

I'll give her that, too.  The artwork is classy.  So many tattoos are done by people with no artistic talent.

Still I have a feeling of most in this thread, just are in the game as long they are still young and beautiful for change to another model when they are used and no more to use for them. Thats the impression I have. Not all, but still

True.  I think some men are unable to commit.  And as you say, some, certainly not all.  My current wife and I had some knock-down drag-out fights over my loyalty to her.  15 years on and just the other day she told me she had a dream about me and my ex.  LOL

Is that a beauty? Well happy to know my taste is a bit different than others. Give me quite good chances for the future if I need ???? Well, Im pleased to see some men use their eyes and long necks when my lady walking passed them, and gives me a bit of pride and make my proud.

Not a random google pic....

Well - at the risk of anybody's comments or ire - this little Thai Eskimo & friend belong to me....Not the "typical" "Thai" face - but she does me just fine for being at that dreaded 50th year mark.... She's spun men around on 3 continents getting a second look or hoping for recognition.....

Happily, our daughters didn't fall too far from the tree either.....

Not a bad in house bevy to be around....

". . . but she does me just fine for being at that dreaded 50th year mark..."

Wow, she looks incredibly young for 50.  What kind of preservatives does she take?  Might be a bit late for my wife to start taking them but . . .

Same,

Mine shouts, "I know you still want her" at me sometimes.

My return shot is, "If I were going to be unfaithful, it would be with someone a lot younger than her"

Which really gets her going, as she is the same age as my ex.

"Mine shouts, "I know you still want her" at me sometimes."

Wow, I seriously think our mates might be talking to each other because when my wife accuses me she uses the exact same words.  I had a strange sensation of déjà vu when I read that.  LOL

Instead, I really do prefer factory girls, girls who can't read much, yet have great empathy and compassion for those they meet, and those they truly care about.

Yes.

I really DO love farm girls and factory girls.

I'm with you there. The closest I've come to settling down with a Thai girl was one who goes grafting on the farms whenever her usual work (spa/hotel receptions etc) dries up. In fact she's currently turned her hand to construction work - something that still freaks me out as a westerner, seeing women up on the scaffold boards ????

There is something about the 'down to earth' girls that has always appealed to me. Even more so when combined with Thai looks

Yes, but has she read the entire published writings of Cheever?

And, what do you think she might know about swimming and diving in pools not her own?

By nature wise, not learned by much art,"

Perhaps she hasn't read Cheever's works but she's sure familiar with Overbury.

That it's probably not legal.

Along the same lines, I was into manufacturing.  Specifically engineering.  Our company had various engineers and as a westerner I was shocked to see how many female engineers there were.  We had one in particular, Sine.  I used to call her Sigh.  I don't think I need to explain why.

Not long after I arrived she had asked me out to dinner.  Still hurts to have to remember this, but I had to let her know I was already taken.  Her face looked bruised.
