Ukraine war: Four more grain ships leave Ukraine as hopes grow for export stability

Four more ships carrying grain and sunflower oil have left Ukraine ports via a safe maritime corridor.

Millions of tonnes of grain have been stuck in Ukraine due to Russian blockades, leading to shortages and higher food prices in other countries.

But last week the first ship left Ukraine's ports since February.

The latest ships to set sail are bound for Turkey where they'll be inspected as part of a deal reached with Russia and the United Nations.

Maybe the LC expired and the bank would not extend it or perhaps they found another supplier and their silo is full?

The silo's full....................maybe and at discounted prices:

Razoni’s voyage comes amid a dispute involving Ukraine and Lebanon over grain shipments. The Ukrainian Embassy in Beirut said that a ship known as Laodicea, which is currently docked in Tripoli, is carrying Ukrainian grain stolen by Russia. A Lebanese customs official told the AP last week that there is nothing wrong with the ship’s contents.

The Ukrainian Embassy is not convinced, however. Yesterday, the embassy offered to buy the wheat and barley aboard the ship at what it said were below market prices, the embassy said in a tweet.

It's confusing because there is two ships.

The one from Ukraine is carrying corn for chicken feed.

Not barley and wheat.

This is my favourite so far, oh the fog of war, it is at least amusing, however most of the disinformation from the Russian side is pure evil:

Moscow’s excuse-making has sometimes verged on the surreal. In an apparent bid to explain why the much-vaunted Russian military has so far failed to overcome Ukrainian resistance, members of a Russian parliamentary commission declared in mid-July that Ukraine was using mutant soldiers who had been transformed into superhuman killing machines by American scientists.

"The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia cautioned the Uzbek diaspora that any form of participation in the Russian invasion of Ukraine is punishable by up to 10 years in Uzbek prison, effectively denouncing Russian volunteer recruitment efforts among Central Asian immigrants. The Embassy noted that Uzbek law prohibits all citizens from engaging in mercenary activity and warned Uzbeks to stay clear of any “provocations.”[16]

Nice summary from the Drive with all the current available evidence on the Saki Air Base attack in Crimea. At least 9 jets destroyed probably many more.

Widespread Destruction Seen After Blasts At Russian Base In Crimea

Though it remains unclear exactly what caused the blasts at Saki Air Base yesterday, the clear focus of the damage on areas where combat aircraft were clustered, together with the craters that look to be major munition impact points, only further point to a deliberate aerial attack or strike of some kind.

Regardless, it seems somewhat unlikely that the damage we're seeing was inflicted during some kind of special operations ground raid – the fact that it happened during the day makes that even less plausible. The craters, especially, are not what you would expect to see from explosive charges emplaced by teams on the ground.

This guy, like all those in the Putin clique, deserves a lot of bad things coming his way, preferably lethal and hopefully very soon.

Here's another slime ball. Steven Seagal just got interviewed on Russian State TV after his trip to Donbas where he's filming a documentary on the atrocities committed by Ukraine soldiers ie the prison conspiracy that it was US HIMARS that killed the prisoners.

Watch the video on twitter or you tube, this idiot is on another planet:

Meanwhile in Russia: Moscow's mouthpieces pulled out what they see as one of their big guns, Steven Seagal. Here are some highlights from his state TV appearance tonight, where he was spreading Kremlin propaganda like there's no tomorrow.

Ukraine Situation Report: Kherson Bridges Out, Russians Face Supply Nightmare

The Russian frontline in Kherson may be on its last legs as Ukrainian forces continue their counteroffensive toward the Dnieper River.

Previous Ukrainian attacks crippled both main bridges near the occupied city and the road crossing upriver at the Nova Kakhovka hydroelectric plant. Despite the Russians’ confounding use of radar reflectors near the bridges, subsequent strikes have occupied forces reliant on ferries to keep supplies and personnel moving, if barely at all.

But reports from the Ukrainian administration in nearby Mikolayiv suggest the leadership of the Russia-backed occupational government fled Kherson and crossed the river on Saturday. It was not clear whether Russian military commanders had also evacuated across the river. If true, it may be a sign that Russian forces are preparing a withdrawal to defensive positions on the south bank.

Yea read a little on that on the BBC too, fantastic news

It added that thousands of Russian troops west of the river were now "almost certainly reliant on just two pontoon ferry crossing points" for ground resupplies.

Military analysts say there is a growing risk of the troops being cut off from the rest of main Russian occupying forces.

A couple thousand soldiers more or less means nothing to Stalin. I mean Putin.

And apparently it does matter, seeing as how the Russian military (in the form of the Wagner group) are going around prison camps, trying to convince convicted murderers and rapists to become soldiers, in exchange for a wad of cash, and a clean record after six months. I don’t think there’s much enthusiasm for this ‘deal’ so far, though, since the odds of dying as a Russian soldier in Ukraine are quite high.

The prisoners should take up the offer to join the Russian military. Sent to the Front, they should then immediately surrender to the Ukranians, thus avoiding their prison sentence and death on the battlefield.

Putin is going to soon learn that you can't send slaves and prisoners to fight free people.

This is what he used to look like, by the way:

Ukraine hits Russian Wagner mercenary HQ in east

Ukrainian artillery has struck a headquarters of Russia's shadowy Wagner paramilitary group of mercenaries in eastern Ukraine, reports say.

The attack in Popasna was reported by Serhiy Hayday, Ukrainian governor of Luhansk region, and several pro-Kremlin war reporters.

The number of casualties is not clear and details remain sketchy. Photos said to show the damage were posted on the Telegram messaging service.

Wagner has been linked to war crimes.

EXCLUSIVE: Vladimir Putin's 'panic-stricken' officials in secret bid to end bloody war in Ukraine

A highly placed Kremlin official has secretly approached the West to help end the Ukraine invasion, it was claimed last night.

The secret member of Vladimir Putin ’s elite is said to have revealed the Kremlin is in panic and desperate for the bloody war to end.

Astonishing claims about the move were made in a report circulated to Western intelligence agencies.

very good news if true !

about the other story about 20.000 Ruzzian soldiers stranded near Kherson and their commanders fleeing, I wouldn't take it at face value, since it could be part of a plan to make these soldiers panic, a sort of self-fulfilling news story.
