Sanook Thai Caption: Targeted him like going for a fish!

 

Sanook reporters went to the north east of Thailand after they were told about a marital tiff involving a harpoon.

 

In Moo 20 of Tajong sub-district in Lahansai, Buriram they found Chanita, 43, all too willing to share what happened the other night.

 

She said her husband of 21 years was always getting drunk and making trouble. 

 

This occasion was no different.

 

She admitted that she was tired after cutting sugar cane all day and lost it when he squeezed her throat.

 

So she responded in kind with a swift grab of his crotch - and she didn't let go twisting to increase the pain.

 

She claimed not to have used any weapon - he had fled and that was the end of it.

 

Bunchoey, 45, found nearby at his mum's house, begged to differ. 

 

He spoke of his wife's incessant nagging for 21 years. 

 

He said they argued because he hadn't cooked the rice for dinner then she grabbed a harpoon usually used for fishing that was propped up against a wall.

 

She attacked his nether regions then twisted the weapon just like she was targeting a fish.

 

He fled to his mum's on a motorcycle and wasn't going to seek medical attention.

 

But in the morning he was in agony and at Lahansai Hospital the doctor gave him 17 stitches. 

 

He was still biding his time at his mother's waiting for his wife to calm down as he feared another attack.

 

He had no intention of pressing charges.

Yes, I imagine having to potentially slap out in court a small willy as evidence may put some people off legal action

While many Thai men are as you describe, we have no proof or even evidence that he's all to blame in this case. The wife might really have been nagging him all these years.

Just a little tiff.

Hey give the chap a break , a small willy would require maybe 3 stitches not 17. Fled to his mums on his motocy. I wonder if he was standing on the foot rests or sitting on a cushion . This story is a load of bo!! ocks .

All I'm saying is that there is a decent chance that there are two sides to this story, and we we shouldn't just assume the guy's 'another lying, bragging, drunken worthless Thai husband.'
