Crime Drunken Foreign Tourists Assault Thai Woman, Locals Step In with Brutal Response
Thailand is one of the few countries in the world where you can read a "tourists get beaten" story daily in the news. Go on with this and you will soon see tourists numbers plummeting further hopefully lowering the bahts strength and also the real estate prices. Anyway if the foreigners were Israelis than it's okay... -

Are you happy with your life in Thailand?
We can't see that from your replies. And intelligence has nothing to do with where you live. I'm only here waiting to leave with my daughter, otherwise i would have never come here in the first place, nor anywhere else in Thailand besides places with history like the Kanchanaburi area and the beach areas. -

Trump's crackdown on LA protests is pure hypocrisy
Hmmmm, about a million dead babies a year in the US, about half of them black, about 10% brown, and that's not enough for the left. -

Trump's crackdown on LA protests is pure hypocrisy
Well this will p*** off the OP and his pro-illegal immigration/anti-Trump AN friends. 'MARINES PREPARED TO DEPLOY' on LA rioters — US Northern Command But - this gives me pause! I'm not a fan of having US military troops deployed on US soil. Based on the information below, if they are deployed, then Trump has labelled this an "Insurrection" and has now invoked The Insurrection Act. I guess we'll see over the next day or so. I hope not. Personally I find this concerning. The US has made it through multiple protests and riots over the years - look at the various flavors of riots in LA alone. Watts Riots (1965), Rodney King Riots (1992), Summer of Love BLM George Floyd Riots "Fiery But Peaceful" Riots of 2020. But at no time were military troops other than state national guard deployed to American soil. If Trump does this, even a conservative like myself is going to want Congressional hearings into "Why?" as well as looking into why the CA governor and LA mayor are both fanning the flames. This is not a good development, but it's one major reason why I have no interest in living in the US. The country and state of my birth are now a bunch of loonies. With all of that said, personally I'd be happy if California from Humboldt Country Southward and Central Valley Westward declared themselves a sovereign named something novel like The Democratic Republic of MexiCal and secede from the US leaving Northern California from Humboldt Country Northward and the Central Valley as part of the US. They can ask China to send warships to help them like the US is doing for Taiwan. Posse Comitatus Act (1878): This law (18 U.S.C. § 1385) generally prohibits the use of federal military forces (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Space Force) to enforce domestic laws unless expressly authorized by the Constitution or an act of Congress. The Navy and Marine Corps were formally included in the Posse Comitatus Act’s restrictions through a 2021 amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act, though Department of Defense regulations had already applied similar restrictions to them. The law aims to prevent the military from acting as a domestic police force, preserving the separation between military and civilian law enforcement to protect democratic principles and civil liberties. Insurrection Act (10 U.S.C. §§ 251–255): 👈 Not good! The Insurrection Act provides the primary exception to the Posse Comitatus Act, allowing the president to deploy federal troops, including Marines, on U.S. soil to suppress insurrections, rebellions, or domestic violence under specific conditions: At the request of a state governor (10 U.S.C. § 251): If a state requests federal assistance to address an insurrection or civil disturbance that local authorities cannot control, the president can deploy troops. Without state consent (10 U.S.C. § 252–253): The president can unilaterally deploy troops if an insurrection or domestic violence prevents the execution of federal or state laws or deprives citizens of their constitutional rights, and local authorities are unable or unwilling to act. The president alone decides when to invoke the Insurrection Act, as courts have historically held that this decision is a political question not subject to judicial review.
