Popular Post webfact Posted June 21, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 21, 2022 PHOTO: Bangkokbiznews By Nop Meechukhun Bangkok – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O’Cha insisted on Monday, June 21st, that the government still needed to extend the emergency decree as its law is still mandatory to solve the potential renewed spread of Covid-19. He spoke after the Move Forward Party urged the government to cancel the Emergency Decree after another extension would end in July. Party MP Rangsiman Rome also claimed that the law has been used to take legal action against pro-democracy protesters rather than curbing the spread of the virus. Moreover, he said the decree would no longer be mandatory as the government had eased several Covid-19 restrictions, including removing mask mandate restrictions and health screening in public areas. Popular Post ikke1959 Posted June 21, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 21, 2022 with more than 200 protesters in jail for section 112 caused by the emergency decree, he should be ashamed. The person himself said that section 112 did not need to be enforced but this Government doesn't care and use it to silence people. And rubbish to blame the few thousand cases of Covid to keep the emergency decree.. The Governmern is and was never honest, lies and controls the media, and freedom of speech by this decree. They want tourists, but with the possibility that everything can change immediately they will not come 36

Flink Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Well colour me <deleted> surprised that those in power don't want togive up their carte blanche power over the country. Could NEVER have seen that coming! (Let's be honest, there are, as yet undiscovered species of dung beetle in the Amazon basin who could have told you that was going to happen!) 1
robert888d Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 How politicians love to cling on to their power.Do they really want tourists,I begin to wonder? 2
Popular Post James105 Posted June 22, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 22, 2022 Quote the emergency decree as its law is still mandatory to solve the potential renewed spread of Covid-19. So we need an emergency decree just in case there is an actual emergency. Clown world. 8
Gottfrid Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Sure Primie! It´s a real emergency. The saddest thing about it, is that it seems to be local and lacks treatment.
