Exactly anyone can take their free food    wide open to abuse , some of it probably ends up on the shelves of certain corner shops too  but who cares if it produces statistics that falsely indicate poverty

"certain corner shops"?  Please explain just what you mean.

I seriously doubt they will last that long.

So how will they be removed?

You think they are going to call an election? ????

C'mon, let her get her a_se on the chair!  Then sock it to her.

There was a US political gasbag who declared Bill Clinton a failure before his inauguration, never read his column again after that.

I was talking about truss.

I didn’t think may would call an election after a walking holiday epiphany.

I didn’t think sunak et al would turn on johnson.

I honestly did not believe at first the tory base would be stupid enough to vote in truss.

Yet all happened.

I doubt truss will last two years and her chancellor almost certainly won’t.

I thought the party MPs selected the PM, not the voters.

Where did I say different?

Though it could be argued that at a general election the voters know who will be pm based on which party wins, I was referring to the recent leadership contest.

The Party MPs select the ‘candidates for PM’, the Constituency Party Membership then vote to select the winning candidate.

Yes?

As party leader.

Did you not notice the recent leadership contest?

Fair enough.

I'm not very interested in UK politics, so not really, though I did realise that she replaced Johnson as PM.

Just what have the rightards got against us in the lower orders owning flat screen tv's and i phones?

After all, it's just what our controllers at 55 Tufton Street SW1 need us to consume in order that their comfortable lifestyles are perpetuated.

Boris was amusing so I'm sorry he's gone. Far as I can see none of the current lot of politicians anywhere are doing a good job, so IMO it doesn't really matter whether it's bad or worse in charge..

No, that is covered by 'corner shops'.  What extra information are you trying to imply with your use of the word 'certain'?

the ones that also don;t understand "multipack not to be sold separately"

That wasn’t the choice.

The choice was Truss or Sunak, the Tories made the wrong choice.

And the outcome was predictable:

I thought it was obvious the Tory party membership would never vote for a non-White leader.

If a white man had been in the running Liz wouldn't have been selected either.

That's not my quote. You need to attribute it to Bluespunk.

I was quoting him.

Although the increase in interest rates were pretty much known by all at the time  , it was inevitable after the USA's inflation rate figures were released and the U.K really had to follow suit , so it doesn't matter who would have been in charge , UK's interest rates needed to rise and that was common knowledge.
