I can ignore a lot of them, but I really don't like the attempts at erasing women.

"People with vaginas", or any sh*t like that, I find abhorrent.  I'm not a feminist by a long shot, but the thought of trans people erasing the identity of women and reducing them to their sex organs, simply because the existence of "real women" upsets them, really irks me.

I don't know any - but probably all of them.

Wasn’t it Trudeau that came out with PEOPLEkind so as to not upset the Doris’s in the audience? Strewth!

Though not woke, cannot stand the way TV people in the UK overuse, or just use, the word massively. Major cringe and reason enough to emigrate!

That was rather amusing .

Trudeau interrupted a Woman asking  a question and told her to use the word "Peoplekind" and NOT "Mankind" to be all inclusive . He then went on to speak to someone else , and not allowing the Woman to finish off her question

The pronoun thing is the most ridiculous, as none mean anything I was taught, and sound silly if using.

I watched a brilliant interview about this on Instagram last night. A guy said something to the effect of, "You don't get your own pronouns, just like you don't get your own prepositions or adjectives. If you get to choose your pronouns, I get to choose my adjectives. I identify as handsome and brilliant - and that's how I demand to be addressed."

The bearded young woman who was being interviewed with him was left speechless.

Notwithstanding that it could lead to African-African.

"Triggered"

When you give your opinion and people ignore what you said and they  just reply with "Triggered"

I think that it was Lenny Henry who went to the USA and was referred to as "Afro-American" and he had to tell them that he was actually

" British -Jamaican" and nothing to do with either America or Africa .

That was Matt Walsh on an AMerican tv show called The Dr. Phil Show. He has an amazing documentary film out called "What Is A Woman?" that everyone should see...

The ultimate woke term is substituted for non-PC chairman. It's chairpersibling.

As for vocabulary, I have two that reallly grind my gears;

"....denier".   Smacks of the original biggie, the "holocaust denier". To me, it sounds like you are calling someone a neo-Nazi just for disagreeing. "climate denier", "election denier", etc.

".... phobe".   Just cause I disagree doesn't make me afraid.   Actual phobias are one thing (germophobe, agoraphobe), but the woke use of homophobe, transphobe, is nails on the chalkboard.

Yes. That's him. Thanks very much. I didn't know who he was.

What about 'slightly pregnant'?

I think I've mentioned this before, but I was watching the news on the TV in the US some years ago when Blacks were rioting in Paris. The US newscaster was reading the copy and said "African-Americans are rioting in Paris...", and you could immediately see the look of horror on her face, as if to say "what idiot wrote this copy?".

That is incorrect  , they were peacefully protesting , they weren't rioting .

The people rioting were some other people, probably Trump supported , MFGA people

Right, it becomes confusing, misleading.

I had an acquaintance who described a Black African person as African American.

And of course Elon Musk is accurately described as an African-American person as he is originally from Pretoria, South Africa.

But nobody actually thinks of Musk when they say African-American.

Even still, it doesn't really upset me.

A certain woke politician in the US recently had to do a lot of profuse apologizing for implying that only women can get pregnant.

While I have an appreciation of irreverent humor I've had it with non-white comedians making anti-white comments poorly disguised as jokes, the sort that would be punishable if the ethnicities were reversed.  Don't dish out what you're not willing to eat.

In 2004 a US presidential candidate's white wife, who was born in Kenya, said she was "African American."  The Black folks didn't like that.

I'm surprised the Kiwi team All Blacks hasn't been forced to change their name.

Free Speech

As in licence to promote hatred, bigotry and poison.

hatred, bigotry and poison are best addressed and countered by more free speech.

Contrast with "freedom of religion" which is often taken to mean freedom to impose one's religious code on others.
