Australian dollar
Your friend needs to check his Australian bank rate. I have been using OFX for years because they have have always had a better rate than the banks. As of a month ago the CBA has dropped their exchange fee and offer a better rate than OFX. Do not know how long this will continue or if the other banks are the same but check them first. An added bonus the money arrives with no fees from my Thai banks but through OFX there was a small fee from them. -

Three out of Five Adults Approve of Trump's Transition into Office
That is one (liberal with a small l) interpretation. Others might suggest that he is putting himself first, followed by those who contributed financially to his campaign, and finally his political supporters - both individuals and various groups, the latter essentially racially based. His policies to satisfy them are going to damage his country economically, and trash it socially. Still, it will keep him out of prison; astonishing really, the repercussions for 335 million people of a quick shag with a pornstar! -

Dangerous Elephant Traps Found in Khao Yai National Park: Officials Take Action
Dangerous traps intended to harm elephants have been found in Khao Yai National Park, spurring quick action from park leaders. The traps, which were located in areas frequented by elephants, seem to have been set by locals. Chaiya Huaihongthong, who heads the park, was alerted by the community leader of Ban Mai Samakki in Mu Si, Pak Chong district, Nakhon Ratchasima province. These traps are made of circular wooden planks with three-inch nails intended to pierce the feet of elephants. Such injuries could lead to serious infections and potentially be fatal for the animals. A local resident discovered the traps and quickly reported them. Following this tip, park officials and local police conducted a detailed search, uncovering 12 traps in total. Each trap had 4-inch nails fixed into a wooden base. The search team rapidly removed these dangerous traps to protect wildlife and to collect evidence that might identify and learn the people behind this cruel act. Chaiya highlighted the severe threat these traps pose, explaining that rusty nails could cause life-threatening infections for elephants. He stated that setting traps is illegal and warned about their dire impact on elephant populations. Police are working with local communities to discourage violent actions against wildlife and to promote non-violent conflict resolution. They are also maintaining a dialogue with residents to ensure better understanding and cooperation. Volunteer groups and related agencies are keeping track of elephant movements to safeguard both the community and the elephants. Chaiya and his team remain dedicated to finding those responsible, using the gathered evidence to ensure they face justice and to avoid future occurrences. The park officials emphasize the necessity of peaceful coexistence with wildlife and continue efforts to foster harmonious living between humans and animals.
