Smart Car pays off?

Nothing smart about this - they got away with living here over three years. From the article:

"officers received an anonymous tip-off from a concerned citizen that they (Foreigners from the African continent) stayed in an area where not many people lived and were suspected of being involved with romance scams."

With Thai immigration, these 4 nigerian princes will be back with new passports and just a few letters rearranged

The global cost of cybercrime was estimated at some 8.4 trillion U.S. dollars in 2022. The cost of incidents caused by illegal activities on the internet are set to surpass the 11 trillion U.S. dollar mark in 2023.

This is ONLY cybercrime...

Crime pays........Once I made 10 billion, I called it a career.  Now I do my 90 day reports legally!!!!!

Of more interest would be what were they up to and how were they supporting themselves, at least we can still use 'blacklisting' here!

Black Friday for them

It would have been a better outcome if the four Nigerians suspected of being involved in romance scams online, were firstly put under technical and physical surveillance and if true, a serious multiple fraud case was built against them to throw these types of scum into prison. Then after a lengthy jail term, throw their worthless a**es out of the country.

Instead, these POS will be deported and will just set up in another country where they will continue to fleece the vulnerable of all their life's savings.

Thailand is truly a mecca for scum.  Guys living the highlife here off the back of criminal ventures that have served them well.

I guess saying 'more than 1,200 days' is more impressive than saying 'more than 3 years'

So much for arriving in the country getting a visa on arrival goes in the computer then no follow up when visa expires .

Something not right here with the system ????

They came from very wealthy families, their late fathers were all multi millionaires

Have you never been contacted by their mothers who are willing to share their wealth  :whistling:
