Used to associate with the Vegan cyclists in CM, never seen such an aggressive bunch, fist fights and reporting each other to the police nearly every week. All disappeared now.

I eat out in a vegan restaurant at least twice a week. Always very cheery.

Defense attorney Mark Cohen said that Bankman-Fried isn’t getting his prescribed Adderall, which helps him focus, and that he isn’t getting a vegan diet, so he has had to subsist on bread and water with some peanut butter.

 

U.S. Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn said she doesn’t think the prison can offer a vegan diet, only a vegetarian one, and she said she would look into the situation right away. Bankman-Fried is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

Although I do not eat meat, and am quite conscious of ingredients, and the quality of cooking oils, etc., I consider alot of foods within vegan diets to be highly toxic. In order to substitute for dairy, they tend to use alot of low end oils and fats. And I do consider the diet to be a form of extremism. Same applies to a fruitarian, raw food diet, etc. I desire some semblance of balance in life.

 

If the vegan food is homemade, it can be healthy. The other aspect to this diet, from my point of view, has to be the horror and huge inconvenience of traveling. I cannot even imagine the effort that goes into it.

Not the one I knew... nasty piece of work though surely thought he was easy going... 

I always look forward to having my vegan lunches from Guan Imm and elsewhere  on the weekends though I'm not a vegan. My meat intake though is lite, maybe a few times a week.

It does affect me personally by getting abused by her when I do my shopping at the meat isle or getting disturbed from having my meal in a restaurant
