Who are you trying to fool? While Israel withdrew from Gaza, they maintained a stringent blockade, tightly controlling entry and exit, regulating the flow of goods, conducting drone strikes on suspected Palestinians riding their cars or motorcycles (Extra judicial killing), patrolling the coastal areas and airspace. Israel killed many fishermen who strayed few meters while making a living at sea.

Israel imposed severe limitations on the import of construction materials, hindering Gaza's reconstruction efforts after the damage inflicted. Likewise, Israel kept strict control of the electricity and fuel supply and used it to drive Gaza into unprecedented poverty and despair. Additionally, they exerted pressure on Egypt to enforce similar travel restrictions, preventing Gazans from freely crossing the Rafah border.

Since 2007, Israel has conducted multiple military operations, resulting in the destruction of infrastructure and the tragic loss of thousands of innocent lives. Israel insured that Gaza would remain one of the Thus, it is important to avoid portraying Israel as a peaceful nation that peacefully departed from Gaza without ever intervening in local affairs. This narrative does not align with the facts, and it's imperative to acknowledge the reality of the situation.

Speaking of facts.

Isn't

nation?

As far as restrictions consider why Israel might do that.

Hamas.

Gaza is ruled by a terrorist organization.

If Gaza wasn't run by a faction dedicated to driving Israeli Jews into the sea, can you imagine that life in Gaza might be a lot better?

Ok, but there are also specific factors. The main one currently being the high power imbalance between the Israel and the Pakestinians. There such a power imbalance that there cannot be any fair direct negotiation, without involving third parties .

For example, it has been possible with Egypt because Egypt was powerful enough. Actually it only occurred after Egypt regained enough power, if I remember well.

There's no changing the power imbalance. It's a fact and a reality. There is no requirement that sides to a negotiation would be equal in strength, I daresay many times this is not the case.

Certainly hope so. Bloody savages the lot of them. See the women handing out sweets in joy before the Israelis started to hit back? They are'nt human.

You are an animal yourself. Disgusting comment. Wishing for women and children to be killed is beyond criminal.

How can such an animal be allowed to post such a nasty sadistic inhumane comment by the moderator?

Then blame those who started the killing, sunbeam.......????

But you won't do that, doesn't fit your anti-Jew agenda.....????

Who started it?

This sort of stuff, semite on semite horror (yes the Arabs are semites too) goes back a long way:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deir_Yassin_massacre

"The massacre became a pivotal event in the Arab–Israeli conflict for its demographic and military consequences. The narrative was embellished and used by various parties to attack each other—by the Palestinians against Israel; by the Haganah to play down their own role in the affair; and by the Israeli left to accuse the Irgun and Lehi of blackening Israel's name by violating the Jewish principle of purity of arms."

The Great Powers really ****** the region when they conspired before, and got hold of it after, the Ottoman Empire collapsed.

Blame them.

I do.

Totally correct but Israeli governments have blockaded  Gaza since 2007

They have certainly tightly controlled access. However they have (until these attacks) supplied electricity, fuel, water, food and medical supplies. They have issued permits allowing Gazans to cross into Israel to work (mainly in agriculture) in the bordering areas; they recently significantly increased the number of such permits. I understand where appropriate they have also allowed Gazans whose conditions cannot be treated in their own hospitals to enter Israel for treatment. This of course has now stopped completely, hardly surprisingly.

The "blockade" centred upon items which had any potential for military uses, in particular construction materials which could also be used to build bunkers and tunnels and similar installations. Other items included electronic and communication equipment, which of course also had military uses, particularly with rockets.

What percentage of the 2+ million people living in Gaza were actually involved?  How many of the pre-teen kids that are currently being bombed took part?  How many of the 75+ year old Gazans?

The problem with collective punishment is that you just can't kill people fast enough.  Because for every innocent you kill, you create a dozen new enemies.

Go after Hamas.  Kill every single one that participated.  But what's the hurry?  They're not going anywhere.

There are, how can I say, levels of support for Hamas in Gaza.

First, the Hamas terrorists themselves.

Second, their eager supporters who supply them, hide them, etc.

Third, those who openly approve of them and make donations.

Fourth, those who largely believe in the Hamas philosophy but dont actively support them.

Fifth, those who wont object if Hamas wins.

Sixth, those who disagree with Hamas and their goals.

How many Gazans fit into the first five categories? IMHO there are not a lot of innocent civilians in Gaza.

Based on what?

(other than prejudice and bigotry)

Recent polling shows 33% of Palestinian support for a two state solution and 34% support from Israeli's for a two state solution.

Think ISIS.

You can't negotiate peace with terrorist scum like Hamas.

If someone were to post calling jews scum, would you label them antisemites?

Not equivalent and you know it. Don't play dumb. I was specifically talking about Hamas terrorists. That's not the same thing as all Muslims. Stop trolling.

Well, that's it. The Palestinians have self-destructed in frustration. Israel now has the excuse it always wanted to ethnically cleanse the region. They will make the Palestinians' lives so impossible that they will have to move en masse. I hope they find decent lives elsewhere in the Arab world (not Europe).

Israel has won this, as was always inevitable, given that the west has shamelessly been on their side all along. The Zionist takeover of this region had been one of the shabbiest episodes in the history of mankind. They ought to hang their heads in shame for all eternity.

The Battle of Gog and Magog

Ezekiel 38–39 speaks of a great battle that will occur in Israel in the “latter days” and that will involve a people from “Magog” led by a king named Gog. Ezekiel described this war as being waged in the “mountains of Israel” against the children of Israel gathered to these lands. The Lord also told Ezekiel He would miraculously save His people from the armies of Magog so that all nations may “know that I am the Lord” (Ezekiel 38:23). Because of these descriptions, Ezekiel seems to be describing the great battle before the Second Coming, commonly known as “Armageddon.”

Frustration?

Hamas charter is about killing all Jews.

Now any doubt that that might just be hyperbole has been erased.

Hamas must be eliminated.

Are they going to  ethnically cleanse the 2.1 million Arab Israeli citizens living peacefully on the same land? Or the people in Gaza they warn to leave target areas in Gaza?

The only ethnic cleaners are Hamas.
