Thai woman calls justice after Thai man attacks her Belgian husband

A Thai woman urged non-profit organisation Saimai Survive to follow up on a legal action against a Thai man who attacked her Belgian husband on a road in Thailand.

The woman gave Channel 7 a video of her 70 year old Belgian husband, Danny, being attacked on the road. The video showed Danny in an orange shirt arguing with a Thai man in a white shirt. Danny was heard saying…

“You are wrong!”

The Thai woman tried to intervene, telling her husband to calm down and asking the Thai man who approached her husband and attempted to attack.

The Thai man kept saying to Danny’s wife…

“He’s insulting me! Do you see? Do you see he insulted me?”

  • Thai men are such wieners, maybe this is why you see old crusty foreign geezers with young Thai women.

Telling someone they are wrong isn't an insult. If he attacked a younger man he would likely have had the crap beaten out of him.

'maybe he deserved a slap.'

...arguing with a Thai man

That's where he <deleted> up.

Sounds like the guy failed to learn Rule #1 somehow.

Thai women are always pitting men against men.  Happened to me many times.  Usually road rage and they get the alien to get out of the car.  Or some other family problem.

At age 70 Monsieur Poirot should know better. He was well up for it before he got sparked out.

Anyone recall any famous Belgian boxers? No - me neither.

Telling a Thai that he's wrong is akin to a death wish...

A jealous ex that the lady did not want to confess ? Anyhow it appears that the Thais are getting more and more jealous and angry in  farangs comming over and taking away their lovely ladies.

A whole page of comments from people who didn't bother to read the article.  Unsurprisingly, you've all got it wrong. Read the whole story.

Got to be careful when using the F word here. Thai men can be hotheads, but this probably could’ve been avoided had boomer not lorded it up.

Video in the full article ...

What about treating older people with respect?  Also we know some people get dementia or lose their filter as they age.  That man looks quite old and frail to me, more than 70.  I think if a comparable Thai man did a little ranting and yelling in the street the other Thai man would have ignored it.  As in given him respect or written it off as he is a little crazy.  It is really hard to see a frail older man get a beat down and this is not the first time I have seen this here by Thai men.  Kind of disgusting.

If the wife really wanted to prevent this, the wife should stop filming n get in between the parties. This will immediately calm the parties or even one of them.
Filming can be provocative n adding fuel to fire up the situation.

and now she complains…what a clown 🤡

It never would have developed like this if the Thai hot head had stopped and moved the kid's bicycle instead of driving into/over it.

The Thai man is clearly out of order, young & healthy and starting a physical fight with a frail and elderly old man.

Having said that, use of the F word never helps with Thais and the video clip shows the Belgian guy doing some vigorous finger pointing at the Thai man, that never goes down well.

Every society has its “fighting talk”, it’s good to know what these words/actions are and avoid, well, unless you are looking for a fight of course.

Another immature person that settles things with his fists.  The guy’s fragile ego was insulted

Thais are never wrong. They are taught that at a very early age.

Perfect video example of your average Thai man and the fragile ego and fake balls they hold inside.

No wonder all their women love us instead

Where on earth did you learn of that association?

Only way she wold get justice is by threatening to go on public access tourist sites giving bad reviews about why you should not come to Thailand, then maybe the the TAT would step in and help her - or sue her !

We all know how Thais have low self-esteem and act like this loser.

For an easy life, you mind your own business. Anywhere in the world.

Especially if you don't speak the language and start screaming, you are likely to be "misunderstood".

The Thai guy should have kept his temper though, against an obviously much older, fragile person.

Papa should have kept his big mouth shut and stopped fingerpointing.
