Officials in Prachuap Khiri Khan, including some of Hua Hin Municipality have undergone training aimed at towards bolstering integrity and transparency within government operations.

Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, in collaboration with the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) of Prachuap Khiri Khan, has launched a comprehensive training program in a bid to elevate the integrity and transparency assessment scores of state agencies in the province.

On January 22, key municipal officials from Hua Hin participated in the training program held at the Koh Lak Meeting Room, Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Hall.

Among the attendees were Mr. Jeerawat Pramani, the Municipal Clerk of Hua Hin, Ms. Jutarat Narathas, Head of General Administration at the Municipal Clerk’s Office, and Miss Sophida Phongdi, a Skilled Administrative Officer from the same office.

All 5 of them.....

What utter rubbish! The people would be happier if they just said, yes, we are filthy corrupt, that's why we are here, and forget the anti corruption BS! They have an uncanny way of making themselves look stupid!

It's a start but I doubt it will catch on... the fact that they have to activate anticorruption measures in the first place is a sign of the moral and ethical lacking in their government to begin with.

All of  them agreed  that they could be  fully audited before proceedings  began...thought so.

No, just the guy on the right, the other four are all heads of departments in uniforms that do not need any form of corruption training, especially the keeping it secret lessons.:whistling:

This policy explicitly encourages officials to reject all forms of gifts and gratuities,

They all look totally encouraged.

Best of all is the brown paper bags they all have on their desk containing the bung for turning up. Go figure

You don't need all this nonsense. Just pass a freedom of information bill and see that it's upheld. But I won't be holding my breath

Just stick signs up in Thai in every administrative building and police station. Corruption: You will go to prison for 20 years!

Also, create an anonymous whistleblower website that states that evidence, in the form of video, photograph/photocopy or audio must be uploaded as proof (no gossip).

Thou shalt not steal.

The words Thai officials and anti corruption do not belong in the same sentence...

It's just like slight of hand , here keep looking at this hand ,it accepts no corruption ,none.

while the other hand, behind their back is stuffing ill gotten gains into their pockets.

regards worgeordie

So they are trained not to be caught? Or act under radar? 0r share the profit? Or honestly to become good honest civil servants...long and winding road I guess.🥳

Just another excuse for a day off, a free lunch and a free goody bag !

I thought honesty was taught from childhood by parents. Not here it seems.

Bless their little cotton socks, they'll do anything for a laugh and a giggle. They are teaching the royal civil service not to indulge in corruption, everyone a loyal subject of the King.
