  • Yeah, I am also sure it is. However, the price is already given in the article. It was 9999 baht, and not given in your irrelevant dollar.

What is with the pointing the finger all the time? Lmfao. I can't believe they actually asked him after arresting him, hey listen here, sit down we're gonna put the stuff you stole in front of you to take a photo and you make sure to point both your fingers at the items otherwise nobody will know what's going on.

Is this a setup for a Polish joke?

Hey, did you hear about the Polish guy who robbed a supermarket?  Instead of robbing the money he took groceries.

The latest YouTube sensation... "Steal, Run, Consume"

Stealing from supermarkets has become an international plague and not only in Thailand, in Australia for instance

customers angry at the cost of living with the big supermarkets and retailers that $9 billion were stolen last year,

so we can say that Thailand is still far, far behind...

Exactly Gottfrid, why they persist in talking dollars all the time, it's Thailand not the good old US of A.

....this is proof that not all farangs are millionaires, as some girls in pattaya think

The report missed out the partridge in a pear tree. What a load of nonsense.

"If I point do I get a reduced sentence?"

"Yes."
"What about 2 points?"

if he had stolen items that werent luxury goods i believe that MAYBE the powers that be might be somewhat lenient before deporting him. but it is hard to believe someone is starving when they steal alcohol... rather than sustenance

I wonder when he walked into the store with his huge full length arm tattoos if someone paid some extra attention to him on the cctv?

Actually "Did you know that retail crime, such as shoplifting, robbery and vandalism, costs Australian businesses up to $9 billion each year?", so not just stealing/shoplifting.

The source I got my info from talks about shoplifting and pilferage from Australians food retailers, but if you know

better, good luck to you...

I am all for foreigners treatment in Thailand. Thai officials know exactly how to keep foreigners on leash. One-year permission to stay even with a 'wify' visa. They know there is no shortage of desperate people who can't live a decent life in their home land; hence, they have to flee their home country to find a decent living in a foreign land, often using a 'wify' visa. They don't have their voice heard anywhere except in a Farang forum where they can post all their hate for Thailand, Thais, Indians, Chinese, and now Russians. And when they steal, there will be parading. They must be reminded that they are in a foreign land because they can't have a decent living in their home land.

And here you are on 25 May 2019 posting this; "

I am 58-year old and recently settled in Thailand with a 20-year elite visa.

I visited Poseidon and rented a girl a few times and then on one occasion, I asked her to meet me outside the establishment for 5K

She did and then visited my condo almost everyday and stayed with me for 5K for 10/12 hours.. She is 20-year old and I have strong sexual feelings for her and want to possess her still my infatuation with her wears off. . Also, I have feelings to have a child with her. I know this all sound strange but she just makes this old man live again.

She barely speaks any English and mostly interested in my money. I understand that. Just to test her if she is trust worthy or not, I once gave her an ATM card and asked her to take 15K for her and return the ATM card to me (The card had day's limit 20K) . My card also had one million baht. She returned my card. May be she knew that the card is worthless after 15K. I don't have any way to know it. She asked me to buy her an iPhone and I did.

How can I ask her to stay with me as long as she likes and bear a child with me? Is that even possible in Thailand? If so, how much money should I give her to stay with me? If she had a child with me, I am ready to give 10 million to her. But how do I discuss the subject with a young girl 20-year old. I understand she may have a bf or want to have a bf of her age. But I don't want somebody else having sex with her till she is pregnant and the child is born. After that she can do whatever she wants. And she will get 10 million or even more.

Any suggestions how to execute the plan? Money is not a problem."

What a quality guy you are!

Sounds like a really expensive supermarket an avocado (119 Baht), he must have already eaten that as it's not in the photo.  :whistling::coffee1:

Yeah, but the most funny thing is that he probably compared to the price in the States as well. Otherwise can´t count, as 300 dollar would be closer to the said amount than 200.

Investing 10 million baht into a Thai girl and her child is not quality enough?

In most supermarkets East or West High value items such as a bottle of whisky @ 10.000 baht are kept separate or extra security tags .

As already mentioned this guy is not stealing to survive he is living the good life at others expense so f.ck him let him enjoy the fish head cuisine in the monkey house.

Then after an appropriate time kick him out as persona non gratis
