Yesterday, a foreign man was assaulted by a group of Thai transwomen in the Patong neighbourhood, Phuket. The incident happened around 5.30am in Soi Bangla and was reportedly triggered by the man slapping one of the transwoman. 

 

A video shared on a local news Facebook page showed the man being chased and beaten by the group. He was hit with fists, kicks, and even a plastic chair.

 

Despite his attempts to escape and the intervention of a Thai man, the assault continued, with the woman that he had purportedly slapped hitting him on the head with a high-heeled shoe.

 

A transwoman involved in the attack claimed that prior to the video, the foreign man was driving around the area on his motorcycle and kicking people at random.

 

 

Another witness said the man provoked the assault by causing a disturbance with the noise from his motorcycle. This witness also noted that the man had an injury to his head before the fight.

 

Many Thai social media users showed their support for the transwomen in the comments. The identity, nationality, and the exact reason for the man's initial assault on the transwoman is yet to be confirmed.

Stilleto shoes are a dangerous weapon.  I remember getting a few stitches in a local hospital when a couple of cops came through in a hurry. 

 

Apparently a guy tried to molest a girl/young lady.  She reacted by smacking him in the head with her Stilleto shoe. 

 

Left a good hole and blood was everywhere.  They found him hiding in a hospital toilet... blood trail was a giveaway.

There's a very simple moral to this story, and that is that you never lay your hands on a Thai person unless you're invited to do so. Ladyboys tend to be very sensitive about this kind of thing and any perceived slight can set them off. We know they run in packs, so even just a moderate slap could invite some very significant repercussions.

Not sure what really happened. A few years ago I was walking at night on Sukhumvit with a small yet very expensive camera. As I was walking a someone sneaked up from behind, haha, and over my shoulder tried to wrestle the camera out of my hand. I reflexively turned and punched the perp in the mouth. It was only then that I realized it was a ladyboy. He looked at me in shock as her mouth was bleeding and he ran away crying. I was a bit shocked too as I have 25+years of martial arts training and I didn't control my strike as trained. It was pure reflex. Live and learn.

So he paid his price for not respecting diversity, showing no respect to trans-women.

I hope he learned his lesson. 5.30am it's a good time starting learning🤣

It's a pity your moral viewpoint isn't reciprocated when it comes to these freaks manhandling tourists against their will and thieving what they can.

Whenever I see them(ladyboys) they are always aggresive, offensive and obnoxious !!!!! and I am sue not telling the truth about who started it !!

Wow,if that would be a legal excuse Half of Thailand would be in the hospital and the other half in the temple!

A bit over the top of course but i mean there would be a lot of fights!

One of our neighbours likes to rev his loud bike at all hours of the night!

Am i going to complain?No way!He also empties his gun in the air when he is really drunk or high.
