Thai couple accuses monk of manipulating them into group sex

Vajrayana Buddhism involves symbolic and actual sexual practices aimed at spiritual transformation and enlightenment under strict guidance.

Just wondering if this is the "core" of Kama Sutra? Or the other way round? Kama Sutra practices are revered and well known around the world, though more difficult to practice than yoga. One has to maintain a, ahem, level of uprighteousness while doing body contortions.

How in the world can people be so stupid, that they allow a monk to manipulating them into having group sex against their own will? Really?

Perhaps they should have sought mental health treatment before obeying this monk. Why go to study Dharma when many of Buddha's teachings can be read online or in books. It was Buddha himself who said, don't believe anything you hear or read, even if it is from me, if it doesn't correspond to your own experience. The monk is an opportunistic pervert who needs serious prison time, even Catholic priests don't go this far.

Buddha forbade monks for practising magic, which they ignored. Religion is always about forgetting how to think and having faith. Obviously, in Thailand, superstition is rampant. As are the monks.

Thinking of changing careers just about now. Just need to find a loophole in the teaching where having sex with the husband can be optional or perhaps the energy can be given to the wife and subsequently she can transfer it to the husband. Time to Google.

both are now receiving treatment in a hospital for mental health issues

I reckon the mental health issues were there before the group sex sessions.
