Yes. He is petrified of her. She has really gotten under his skin, already. Without even trying. He does not do well against smart and accomplished women. He hates that type of woman. She would cream him in a debate. Hope it will happen and hope he musters up the courage for it. Right now, he appears to be a real coward. Which is not surprising.

I hope he doesn't. There is no way he can win. If he wins he'll get castigated for being rude to the poor darling, and if he loses he'll just e giving the usual suspects ammunition to use against him.

He has nothing to gain and much to lose if he does debate her, and in any event the debates are rubbish, IMO. The entire set up is just to get advertising $, far as I can see.

Why would he be “scared”? Just make insults,  spew a load of codswallop (with no fact checking ), and avoid every real question.

I heard her speech about 'going to the border' and her nonsense about 'the Ukraine is a country in Europe next to another country in Europe'

Eloquent?

More like mental illness.

I'd prefer Hillary.

A laugh emoji on the post isn't enough to respond to that, so I came on here just to :cheesy: at it.

Her recent stuff has been better I think. She's learning not to get bogged down and smart enough to improve. I liked Hillary too. Never understood the hate.

Hmmh, and you think your dement grandfather Donny is the better choice? Only, if you're blind and deaf.🤗

I have no dog in this hunt but I wonder what upside Trump could obtain by debating the VP?  She is a proven light weight … look what Tulsi Gabbard did to her in the last election debate, Kamala was destroyed. Every speaking opportunity Kamala has had since she has embarrassed herself. So if Trump trounces her in a debate that would be the expected outcome and he gains nothing.  However if she unexpectedly gets in a few good licks the she gains a lot. I’m not a Trump fanboy but he is pragmatic.

Finally, has anyone considered the possibility that the Dem elites pull the plug on Kamala at the Dem convention and replace her with a new option … Newsome, Whitmer etc?

If I were Trump I would wait until the cards are in the table before I consider debating anyone.

I think they're both awful choices, and anyone pretending different must be some political activist

If Trump/Harris is the best choices in America, god help America.

Is not "swamp dwellers" trump's term for lobbyists / influencers. trump listens to them and they do influence his decisions e.g. on immigration. China and Energy. In fact he has appointed some to be his official adviser e.g. Stephen Miller and Bannon. trump has not 'drained the swamp', but continues the political process. A good recent example trump asking for a billion dollars in donations from energy industry in return for favourable legislation for the industry i.e. more profits.

When a Republican can't think of anything creative, which is almost every time one opens his/her mouth, they resort to making stuff up or regurgitating some mindless drivel that makes no sense.  Here we have exhibit A.

Who, exactly, is saying to vote for Harris "because she's a woman"?

It's amazing the effect that someone going up against Trump has on people.  They go from being completely unpopular with a history of doing things that people hate, to suddenly being super-intelligent, classy, saint-like people.

Kind of like "the halo effect".
