A playful TikTok video featuring two foreign tourists pretending to paddle a boat while seated on a moving walkway at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport has gone viral. While the antics drew laughs and numerous likes and shares online, many netizens have raised safety concerns.

The clip, posted by user "svenvandijk21," shows the two tourists humourously staging a boat trip from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, complete with paddling gestures. It quickly gained traction, captivating audiences with its light-heartedness.

However, amid the laughter, several online commenters reminded viewers of the potential dangers of such stunts, urging against imitating the behaviour on airport walkways, reported Daily News.

And all of them pointed out that it was the Airports duty to see to that everything is safe. Both when standing and sitting.

A very lucky lady, could have been so much worse.  Greedy sick people push ethanol and methanol down unsuspecting young people.

Jail, jail and more jail will be the only deterrent

so tell us what makes sitting down less safe than standing?

The taxi ride from the airport to their hotel was far more dangerous than that.

More foreign idjits that wanna be Tik Tok stars.

Their ballsax could've been ripped off at the exit.

There could be copycats after their stupid video went "viral."

Send them back on the first plane and maybe they'll get a clue.

What exactly did you comment?

What netizens exactly ?....   Couple of comments on social media ?

Just a pair of lads having a laugh...   This 'rowing thing' has been done the world over, quite amusing, but no longer original in the slightest...

I must admit to being a little confused by this reply to 2 men 'rowing' down a moving walkway.

Or anything hanging down.  Folds of skin, loose clothing, etc.  It's risky even with flip-flops, as we have seen in the past.

I'd very much doubt they'd 'ride the rowing boat' until the very end of the travelator...

...  Extremely stupid if they did...  Imagine that story... "Travelator Oar-deal Leaves Tourists Short-Changed Below Deck!"

Stroke. Stroke. Stroke. Stroke.

"Safety concerns", in Thailand? :cheesy: Not a single Thai in existence cares anything about safety, and never will.

Oblivious?  Nah, not at all, but it is obvious that they could lose a leg.
