The president-elect, she said, “would rather have a disrupter at the top and buttress the disrupter with people who know the business or the agency. That’s the idea. And so if you think of it that way, it explains all of them.”

During the last term Trump sort of set the benchmark for selecting nominees from the absolute bottom of the barrel, it seems like he's determined to repeat himself by selecting people who are not only massively unqualified, but like himself morally bankrupt. 

Those dems really know how to put a goofy comedy show, it made for a good laugh before hitting the hay last night.

The only real audience for the DEMs are 4 Republicans who might oppose.

I think you have to question the suitability for one of the most important positions in the US government of a man who doesn't believe in germs because he can't see them.

I am not the one that made a post and brought up nationalities and ethnicities. He is an American senator. Much like i am just a douchebag not a Swedish, Irish, German, American douchebag. It made me curious why single out this guy is part Thai?

I really wish she would not have mentioned Donald Trump's numerous bankrupticies and pepper him with questions on Defense policy and current missions.  For instance she could have asked Mr Fox and Friends what is the name of the US Army base in the Marshall Islands and why is it strategically important? It is clear all he knows is "indo Pacfic" and this means S.Korea, Japan and Australia only.  My guess is this is the first time he has heard the term ASEAN.  I do not see him lasting long as Sec Def.   His true nature will come out while he is in office.  When I was in the Army we had a saying "any rank above Captain is a political position".  Sec Def is a political position and not a warrior position.  In recent memory my favorit Sec Def was Robert Gates.  Someone like him would have been a better choice.

Hegseth is more than qualified. Combat veteran, decorated for valor under fire. Ivy League educational pedigree. Calm under fire. Beloved by the actual troops, if not the MIC.  Made the ranting harpies on the committee look very very bad.  The rest is all smoke and nonsense.
