Most days I just read the Pattaya News thread.  Just recently the start date function doesn't work.  The 1st half-a-dozen topics remain the same.

Not sure I understand your point, the dates listed are the dates the topic was posted and they are "pinned"

Sorry I didn't understand the notion of pinned.  I usually click 'order by start date' and skim the top/recent stories.

When a topic is pinned it remains at the top of the first page, regardless of when the topic was started and regardless when the last comment was made.

 

Staff pin topics that they deem too important to slowly slip down the page.
