Pattaya’s mayor, Poramet Ngampichet, has ordered an urgent investigation into images circulating on social media that allegedly show tourists engaging in intimate activity in the sea off Jomtien Beach. The images, widely shared online, prompted calls for immediate clarification.

Mayor Poramet, also known as “Beer,” has contacted the superintendent of Pattaya City Police Station to verify the authenticity and timing and date of the photos. If the activity is confirmed to have occurred recently, police have been instructed to pursue legal action in line with public decency laws.

WOW! So can someone explain to me why being intimate whilst in the sea is illegal here. Unless the photos actually show penetration and various sex positions with a clear shot that they were having intercourse, It should not be someone that the people or police or government needs to address.

I would have thought that they complement each other.

I went in the sea there years ago and it was like warm soup now I know why
