The bigot brigade doesn't like facts to get in the way of  splashing blood libel and stirring up ignorant hate. There have been over 250,000 Israeli visitors to Thailand for the first 7 months of 2025. And out of that number there have been a  very small number of wrongdoers. On the contrary, the Israelis have been as law abiding as other low crime foreign visitors.

The historical data indicates that it is a subset of  Europeans who are responsible for much of the foreign caused crime. From time to time, there are data releases. Remember the crime problem in Phuket a few years ago? The governor had to hold a special meeting for the consuls in March. The Bangkok Post at the time reported that  More than 180 foreigners have faced criminal charges in the southern resort province of Phuket since the start of the year, with the top three offenders being nationals from Russia, France and the United Kingdom. Not much has changed  since then, anywhere in Thailand. The type of crimes attract specific nationals.

Well, there are many Jews living in Russia, great percentage moved to Israel and changed the Israel's landscape. Many Jews in France. Actually most of the "French" that I have met in America seem to look very Kosher. And the UK has tons of Jews and Crypto Jews. And not come to talk about Jewish percentage worldwide from the Wikipedia or some other Kosher source. By my experience it is all bs.

DO they only make certain nationalities pay upfront?  Been a while but I don't remember ever paying upfront.

I was curious about this also. In all the years i have been in Thailand, I have never been asked to pay up front. I get massages about 20 times a year. Always at different places.

No refund, so he liberated the donations intended for a temple in Petchabun.

What a twerp, send him down for three months to learn how to behave.

.

Yes, I expect you are correct, been regaled with a few tales of woe along those lines. Sounds like this guy was required to pay up front, something I too have come across lately.......

I always make sure to demand the youngest masseuse and and stipulate a woman below the age of 40. However, some spas do not a honour this request. I've had a woman who looked 58 or more turn up, which ruined the entire massage.

But I guess you have to be Israeli to demand a refund and then steal temple donation envelopes.

As a lawyer, I'm sure you appreciate he was paying for a service which is time based and not results based.  A fixed fee for a fixed amount of time.

In one of my service businesses, we sold projects that were time based.  One of our customers didn't pay because he claimed that he was unhappy with the results.  In the court case where we sued him, I used the analogy of a lawyer who charges time, not results.  The judge got it straight away and needless to say, we won the case.

I was expecting you to mention something about the guy maybe being an Israeli soldier who took part in a genocide

and so on, knowing your positions on the matter, but alas, nothing, or maybe you've forgotten?

Israel seems to have it's fair share of entitled criminals. I guess most kosher Israelis are in the IDF or riding it out in the US.

Of course you do, when they tell you nobody else is available.

You can always smile and leave. You walked in you will walk out. Did they close the other 9999 massage shops in Pattaya?

Your obsession for younger women in this instance is unwarranted. Best massage is from big, strong women.

Been many news stories as of late of pedophiles absconding to Israel because Israel HAS NO EXTRADITION TREATY with USA despite the ten billion it feeds the nation.

Then you have the half dozen US Jewish spies living life of Riley. Pollard I recall reading is actually in Kinesset ffs!!!!!

is the double standard that is applied.  The accused here may not have understood the intent of the envelope.

This is assumably what he stated. It beggars belief. Just a weak excuse. Of course, the money was not retuned and that is it in a nutshell.

Assuming the envelopes were on or near the donation tree those trees are always pinned with banknotes.

The ultimate question is what did he think was inside the envelopes and why did he steal that??!

In a country that values personal property... TikTok is chok a block full of clips of tourists raving about how safe their possessions are around Thai people. Then you have this gypsy

Just what is wrong with those guys? Causing upheaval left and right, refusing to pay for this and that, and a massage of all things right at the end, then stealing donations! That is low. Deport deport deport. Yes it happens with other nationalities—and there are good and bad blah blah—but not to this extent. The usual suspects will be along in a minute to label me an antisemite or whatever for pointing the obvious out. 🙄😴

What is law enforcement like in Israel?

During his initial questioning, Bar claimed ignorance about the contents of the envelopes, suggesting his actions stemmed from frustration over the refused refund. However, law enforcement officials are skeptical about his explanation, opting to detain him for further interrogation. Bar faces pending charges and will be handed over to prosecutors for formal legal proceedings.

Stupid is as stupid does.  Enjoy your lock-up and deportation.

You have obviously been fortunate to not come across them in restaurants or resorts.

Consider yourself lucky.

They are inconsiderate, selfish and annoying everyone.

They seem to think this “anti semitism” word gives them a free pass.

Be more specific. How and when has this happened to you. How did the Israelis hurt your feelings?

Smart money understands the division of labor. There's proper massage and then there's everything else.

I'm curious about the very odd hairstyle with the big orange patch at the rear.

What's that all about?

Is he some sort of aging Tel Aviv hipster?

Covering up a medical condition of the scalp?

Just mentally unstable (based on his behavior, points for that)?

Or perhaps he's among the majority of Israelis who support Trump (and now celebrating the cease fire) and the orange top is a tribute?

I don't quite believe this story is all true.

The headline is a  bit misleading .

*Service dispute ends up with customer taking money due to be donated to Temple*

Would have been a more accurate headline

Is the name "Bar" a common Israeli name?
