Bus Bangkok to Pattaya

I have been having some negative experiences with them in the past 18 months; Actions like, Speeding in a blinding rain storm, or tailgating, or excessive speed with multiple sharp lane changes without signalling etc. while texting /talking on mobile phone. They charge an extra 500 baht to Hua Hin in Dec-April for high season, so be careful about the surcharges. They remain my go to choice, but I think I may try another option for my next airport trip next week.

I always asks for a reliable driver with specific instructions, and not experienced one yet. The last one a Camry from Suvarnabhumi to Phetchabun 4 500,- baht when I arrived early from Norway last time. Anyway, I always address such behaviour if happens, still annoying.

I have a question

If one is in Bangkok say staying at lumpini park

And they wanted to travel by bus to Pattaya ( Jomtien) , do they need to go back to the airport to get the bus ?

If I could get an answer immediately please !!!

This question was asked to me this morning in my Airbnb condo by a neighbour whose wife is arriving although I did correct him and say "you mean partner ?

Unfortunately he did walk off when I tried to explain to him he shouldn't be bringing genders into this ,but please can I get an answer to the original question

I wholeheartedly commend your decision to embark on a bus trip. This experience will profoundly deepen your appreciation of Thai culture as you immerse yourself in the daily lives of the people. Remember to take notes; capturing these experiences will enrich your understanding and provide lasting memories. Enjoy every moment of this adventure!

I don't think she has the means of affording a taxi, unless it is imaginary much like her presence in Thailand.

I feel like it's all imaginary.

You get the MRT to the airport

MRT to airport

The MRT does not go to either airport. Airport Rail Link (ARL) goes to Suvarnabhumi, and the SRT Red Line goes to Don Mueang.

MRT runs adjacent to Lumphini Park

He aint got none.....

More than 40 posts on a topic done to death multiple times 🙄

I think there are minivans (rottu) that will go directly from Ekkamai bus terminal to Jomtien, but not sure if it stops at Jomtien bus station. These minivans tend to make lots of stops along the way. Estimate at least 3 hours for the journey around 160 baht.

No , I need to know a bus from Bangkok to Jomtien bus station

Surely the airport is not the only bus stop in Bangkok?

We need experts on this to comment

The Roong Reunag buses from Ekkami & Moh Chit only go to North Pattaya Bus Station, if you want Jomtien you need to go to the Airport.

If you don't want to go to the Airport & don't want to do the short hop from North Pattaya Bus Station to Jomtien (If you know what you're doing it's more effiient to get out when it stops on Sukhumvit road & get a Bolt from there) then you should look at the Mini Vans from Ekkami or Moh Chit depending on which ones easier for you.

I do recall Ekkami having a number of desks selling Van tickets to Jomtien but have always travelled to North Pattaya so can't comment on cost or quality.

Likely they are either at home or at work.... Might be 1 or 2 down soi 6 already though!

Does that Elkamai bus go to Jomtien though ?

I think it's only Pattaya North bus station

Both, the Ekamai and the Morchit bus go to the north Pattaya bus station, not Jomtien.

Ditto..... I have also heeded the warning to get the ticket at the right kiosk, as I too always wanted the Reung Ruen coach to Pattaya North bus station and not end up on some minibus with a wild driver, stopping frequently. . Ambling around Ekamai there are buses labelled for Jomtien.

Yep, for the RR bus to Pattaya North, always go to the 1st booth on the right hand side as you're walking in, it will probably be the only booth that isn't shouting for your attention.

Except the bogans drink Leo because it is cheaper.

if one was familiar with the google seach engine it would be easy for one to obtain this basic information, and upon receipt of said information i have no doubt that one would be exceedingly content.
