Patience grasshopper:smile:

The Irishman had a limited cinema release but will be on Netflix on 27 Novmber.

Seen a few HD cam copies of MB.

Just noticed a blueray copy on Lime last month.

Not sure if it's any good but you can give it a crack.

Drove the Ice Road North of Yellowknife to the diamond mines for 8 seasons.

the cow dung they spew on that show is unreal

True but it was an easy watch - and a bit less mud than Outback Truckers (which make a good mind release after trying to keep track of all the twists in 'inspector' Lewis).  Deadliest Catch is another easy watch.

Anyone else find The Dublin Murders pretty hard going?

I gave up on it half way through episode three, pretty dull, lots of filler and so many flashbacks.

I just watched the trailor ,Serious question ,is it a comedy series?

No, more a fantasy drama set shortly after the Roman invasion of Britain. Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been out and about for Loy Krathong.

This one comes out next month, looks interesting (if you're interested in that kind of show, of course).

I caught the first episode of ‘his dark materials’ - it’s HBO on BBC with a big budget and cgi along with a lot of UK TV actors playing different roles, I was quite impressed, I didn’t realize it was BBC.

Just watched "Official Secrets" and thought it was very good and would recommend it!

A bit of an eye opener for those of us who may not have followed the Iraqi invasion/war and events leading up to it that closely.

Best movie I have seen in a long time. Thanks a lot for recommending it.

Vice news dropped off HBO .. but they have two new series on viceland -

The impeachment show

Vice investigates

Halfway through it; absolutely brilliant acting. His descent into complete madness, is portrayed in a realistic, compassionate way.

Maybe you should give The Wire a crack.

The crims are all black:whistling:

Seen it. That's Baltimore for you.

Just went to see midway which is a very impressive action war film of the battle in the pacific 1942. Surprisingly no black actors cast, pretty sure there must have been a few in the USA navy in the war?

Speaking of older shows, I saw Edge of Darkness had been uploaded on RARBG.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090424/?ref_=ttawd_awd_tt

It's from 1985 but has great reviews. It won 6 BAFTA's.

I gave it a crack but it had just dated so much that I didn't really enjoy it.

Now I try and stick to the modern day stuff (mostly).
