We need to dispose of our hard earned fortunes SOMEWHERE!

For the same reason any person marries another person

Race does not come into the equation, but some western men find it fulfills some fantasies for them, as well as they are less likely to find themselves challenged in the male female power differentiation in some circumstances.

But never be deluded as to where the actual power is

More than likely bloody good cooks

Umm, because many of us are dreamers and believers in humanity good nature and buy the whole cow for a glass of milk? or maybe just to save on bar fines and lady drinks...

Not sure if the OP is trolling for wind-ups here or what his true angle is.  Hopefully the OP is not racist.  The clear answer is that a person marries their partner for life regardless of race, color, creed or nationality...….all else is ridiculous to assume.  With any relationship there are always inherent risks.

Reason to marry in old age, have found a love and also desire a full time companion or a caregiver would be my guess.

Of course many feel marriage is the ultimate declaration of Love.  Love conquers all, Love is like oxygen, Love is a many splendored thing,  Love lifts us up where we belong!  All you need is love!

Am satisfied with part-time lovers currently.  Part Time Lover, a great Stevie Wonder song. Love Is The Drug (and I need to Score)  Roxy Music .  Everyone has different paths they follow, makes us all individuals.  Peace

Because my Thai wife act like a woman. She take care of our son and the house without complaining. I take care of finance and the garden. All my previous western girlfriends gave me headache and it felt like a constant fight.

I prefer drinking beer, but whatever turns you on!

????

My friend's cousin was visiting in the States. He was busy at work and it was my day off. He asked if I could take her, and her cousin, to Disneyland.

We hit it off. And, 4 years later, we married.

I believe that's how it's done.

Great...then stay single and keep trolling

For company, I think a stupid question ,should get a stupid answer,

You need only 400000 in the bank, or 40000 as monthly incomes. I also anticipate a sharp rise in the numbers due to the health insurance requirement.

Well, if you don't see any benefit, don't do it.

Those of us who have married a 'foreigner' (as you demeaningly put it) have a variety of reasons for doing so, none of which are anything to do with you O/P.

Financially speaking you'd be ahead of the game putting 800K in Thai bank and not having a wife or steady g/f for that matter.

Let me try to work out: 10 years by 100 boombooms a year by 2000 Bahts that 2000000  Bahts  plus 400000 equal 2400000... Fraaaakkkkk you are right by a factor 10 !!!..  At least.

rather a silly question from the OP.  Why does anyone marry anyone, or have a relationship with anyone?  Any number of hundreds of reasons, that are only to do with the couple themselves.  Move on.

I don't care if the married couple never discusses philosophy, current events, or anything deeper than, "Are you hungry?"; HOWEVER, I would want a wife that could produce an intellect to varying degrees.  Why?  Then I can trust them in all situations, and know they are smart enough to make good decisions.  Since none of us are really fluent, we have no idea if their IQ is 60 or 160.  In our home country, we know if the person is smart and if our kids will be smart/clever or not.

Am I asking for too much?
