Big bike riders will now need separate licence

I and 3 other Cars pulled out in front of one whilst crossing a Hi Way, technically our fault but it tried to whiz between 2 of us. The Bike ended up so far down the Hi Way the Cops did all but apologise for the young lad. It was a top end Ninja, doing guesstimated 150kph and in this case a test would have saved the lads legs imo.

Probably a Forza

My Xmax 300 is very similar to the Forza.  So if they base it on CC's and its over 300 cc's then I am fine without having to retest for there new class of license.  Of course my California CDL that is still valid is good for Class M, which is motorcycle and is required for a scooter on up to a Hyabusa

Can see this turning into a Smart <deleted> Fest. Can we just present  will it help or not constructive remarks, not a picture gallery of some funny looking Scooters.

What a crazy idea. You'll be amazed at how quick you can pick up your pride and joy after you dropped it. I've picked up an FJ1100 and GPZ750 quite easily so under your suggested rules they wouldn't be big bikes.

Most all people don't have a clue how to do it and it is not as easy to do as you profess it is.

My Kawasaki Z 400 is actually 399cc, and the green book lists it as 399cc.

Is that going to matter, or will they use the model number (which is something 400 something)?

That comes down to the size/strength of the person, not the bike.

Yes and no. And yes I have picked up big bikes that I have dropped before. Not the same as a small bike.
