Giant, aged 2, the Pit Bull breed or Ban Dog that savaged its owner to death last week has been taken to his funeral in Pattaya.

He took part in a ceremony called "khor khama" in which he apologized to the corpse.

This is usually done by humans to humans in murder cases.

This time new owner Seuksa Ketnat (from Nakhon Sawan) had Giant muzzled and on a tight lead at Wat Bang Lamung.

No wonder - he had attacked his previous owner with bites to the neck, head and body. He soon died in Chonburi Hospital after the attack at his house in Bang Lamung.

Siam Chon News reported that Giant wagged his tail and was clearly happy to meet the wife of the victim Wanphen Khumkhong, also 56.

Relatives inquired about Giant's condition and if he could eat while muzzled.

He performed the ceremony and soon left.

Many dignitaries from Laem Chabang and Bang Lamung attended the bathing rites at the temple yesterday evening ahead of the cremation that takes place today at 4 pm.

Yes, so are  people who organised the ceremony : the only thing to was to euthanize this dog

I like dogs, but not dangerous dogs

Did the dog understood what was the ceremony organised for ? I doubt ...????

I would have thought lead in the ear would be the solution for all concerned, ludicrous!

How long to get through a coffin - especially if it was only MDF?

  • Popular Post

Well, Thailand still has the death penalty. But for humans only. Amazing country.

This morning's laugh.  How can people be so gullible as to believe all this kind of quasi religious BS.

I understand that the owner did accept the pit bull's apology.  I also understand that the pit bull stated that he wouldn't do it again.

What a ridiculous story.

I know of a restaurant in Vietnam that would happily take "Giant" in.

So who wants Giant aged 2 .  Hardly a family pet , damn I think he is even bigger  than my cat Cola.

Should have been going to be cremated after a bullet to its head.

yes, he was happy, the same way he gets happy when he sees his full meal bowl

he was probably thinking "looks like meat's back on the menu..."
