Hua Hin: Business leader expects 100,000 foreign tourists in Q4 - they'll spend big 1.2 billion baht

Yeah sure, 100,000 idiots who want to spend time in an open air prison where everything's closed and walking around without a face muzzle is considered a revolutionary act.

Why bother with this nonsense. In Australia, face masks generally aren't required anywhere, except airports and then only for those aged 12 and above. Ditto for New Zealand. In America, face mask rules are being relaxed...soon even in democratic states.

Both Australia and the United States have tropical beaches...and casinos.

Thailand doesn't have any casinos.

Why exactly would one come to Thailand?

Keep smoking what ever it is you are on  - where exactly are these people coming from ...................LOL

Unlikely that Australians or Chinese, two large markets, will be allowed to leave their countries by then. Aussies can currently visit New Zealand but that's it. Chinese can go to Macau (and Hong Kong in some limited circumstances) but nowhere else.

Herd immunity - with Hua Hin favored in the vaccine rollout after being named as one of the places for maximum vaccine rollout - would be achieved and the tourists will come, was his message

Herd immunity by the 4th qtr...on which planet.

there will be 100,000 foreign tourists coming to Hua Hin, reported Thai Rath

And they are big spenders, he claimed. They will add 1.2 billion baht to the local economy.

Wow, so they're going to spend 12,000 each? Big spenders hey.

You can't get one night in a nice room in some of the fancier hotels for that.

The forced hospitalisation policy is what will prevent people from coming to Thailand.

Can someone explain to me how people like this get into leadership positions in Thailand? I suppose the UK has it's Boris, the US had Trump, Italy had Belusconi, France has Macron, Brazil has Bolsonaro, Tesla has Musk etc etc

I sometimes think I live in a world populated by idiots when I see what the mob votes for.

My last trip to Hua Hin I was paying 400bht a night for a double room, Euro City by the station, it was good enough.

Always wondered what he rooms look like.walk or drive past it many times, seen they advertise rooms for 99bht,must be dorm rooms for that price, looks like a right <deleted>hole from outside tho,far better places closer to the beach for 500-600 bht a night.

There will also be private flights by three companies into Hua Hin airport after transport minister Saksayam Chidchob agreed to certain deregulations.

Lol ! absolute dreamers, why do they even bother, everyday they make up stupid <deleted>,justifying their jobs to gov leaders and clinging onto them more like, with the promise of big money they are thick enough to buy it.

Must be backpackers, spending only 12000 Baht each

Some red light high rollers will proudly show this as their tab from a night at the bar.
