Foreigners in Thailand can register for a COVID-19 vaccine via the Ministry of Public Health’s Intervac website from June 14.

Earlier this week, the Intervac website was updated to include the URL: https://thailandintervac.com/expatriates

Previously, the website was only accepting registrations for foreigners in Thailand aged over 60 and those with underlying health conditions.

But now registrations will be expanded to all foreigners from June 14.

“For those interested in receiving Sinovac or AstraZeneca begins from June 14, 2021 (sic), the website reads.

The website says registrations will be open from 14:00 to 18:00 each day.

It is also understood that the number of hospitals where vaccinations will be administered will be expanded nationwide.

Previously, the website only listed hospitals in Bangkok and Chonburi.

When registering for a vaccine, foreigners are advised to register 2 weeks in advance of the intended vaccination date.

No walk in registrations will be available.

It should be noted that when Thaivisa staff tried to register on Thursday  (June 10) the registration form wasn’t working. An error with the ‘district’ field meant that the form could not be submitted.

In addition to the Intervac website, several provinces in Thailand are also expected to launch their own vaccine registration platforms for foreigners in the coming weeks.

So using the other Link for Thailandintervac.com is not to be used anymore.  Does that mean those of us that were successful in getting an appointment registered before we were supposed to as expats.

  • So the website for 60+ and those with comorbidities, which was launched on 7 June and which does not work, will now be swamped by another website?   As I noted in the thread about this site

  • I was able to complete registration yesterday with no issues at all. Perhaps the issue is 18 inches from the screen? ????

another joke or just fake news?

the idea of online registration is availability 24h, not just for 4h. Traffic might crush their website, slow down, cause mistakes.

Their website was not functioning for the last few days with "database is being upgraded, come back later"

On Monday I will try and log in to the new site and see if it lets me since I already registered on the one put out on Monday.

One think i can say in their favor, if they don't give you the actual vaccine at least the give you hope and hope as we all know  springs eternal that you just might get it one day...

As I noted in the thread about this site not working, there is no intention to vaccinate foreigners, despite the regular hot air to the contrary.

Last Wednesday, I am able to register with Mor Phom and my schedule for vaccination will be on 29 July 2021 for AZ.  However, my wife's office will receive Sinopharm on 20 June, possible I will go for this, instead AZ.

I think the clue here is "all the dates from June 2021 onwards until the end of next year are dimmed out". Of course proceeding without a booking date will result in a null (epoch 0) date. I checked various hospitals until I found one with available dates and was able to get a confirmed booking. So my comment about 18 inches from the screen stands...

I am not high or drunk.

But my head is spinning.

Thailand, the only place on the planet, where your deja vu, has deja vu.

Try to update your information / Use the edit function.  Refill in the needed drop down boxes and then register.  Se if that does not work for you to then be able to obtain an appointment.  I had to do it three times yesterday before it worked.

I haven't been able to get to a hospital choice because the "registration" keeps telling me it is incomplete. When I go back to edit/check details, the system has "dropped" 5 items:

1) Nationality

2) Province

3) District

4) Sub-district

5) Organisation

repeatedly. When I try and re-register it tells me I'm already registered. So I'm both registered and my registration is incomplete. Ergo, I cannot to proceed to make a booking....at any hospital in Bangkok, or choose vax, or choose date, or choose time.

The issue is the information keyed in is not being retained. I have tried Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and yesterday until it closed at 3.00 pm. In between all that time it has had tweaks, so the "faults" vary.

I've tried it more than 3 times, but I will have another go when it reopens today.

Has anyone noted that the information provided states that the site is  functional  between the hours of 2 pm (14.00 hrs) and 6 pm (1800 hrs) ?

That might explain why so many have had problems?

I was able to use the green tab below the Open 1200 Noon tab.  Once I clicked it and then updated my info, the green box disappeared and the only one left was the Open 1200 Noon tab.  I did it before 12 noon, and then after 12 Noon, i tried 3 times before being successful at getting an appointment date as I stated in another post.

It is no wonder it doesn't work... judging by posts here the site is getting bombarded by TV posters trying to register multiple times, trying to change their details and check on their status.

Surprising when the only places listed are a couple in Bangkok.

We're talking about 2 different sites. The thailandintervac.com has the site open at 12 noon. Obviously I can't open it before.

The green bar is not available today, (as of just now):

Why surprising, there are a lot of us who live and do work here in Bangkok as well as those that are truly retired.  Not everyone lives outside of Bangkok, and yes there are many that do, but I can assure you there are more living inside the city.

What about expats living up country? ☹️

Might have to wait and look at the site that goes operational for expats on the 14th

Yes, I've "registered" but it keeps telling me that the information is not completed, so I have to go back to repeat the details, which keep dropping...oh forget it.

Did you really expect anything different? With people like this at the helm, it can only go pear shaped.

Yeah, sure, blame it on the users. That's the ticket!
