Do they seriously think Thais are about to start using what little money they have now to start buying tests every 3-5 days ?    They get more ludicrous daily

  • Here is a radical thought.  Try vaccinating the people with a quality vaccine.  Sinovac doesn't count as a quality vaccine.

  • Horrible choice of words.

Don't worry about it because Australia is not charging everyone that breaks the Covid laws either. There is the case of the new outbreak in Australia being caused by 2 removalists crossing the borders which is against the law but they are not going to charge them with breaking the laws, so you so called western countries are just the same as here.

Sorry to sink you racial boat Isaan Sailor but it has been announced that even your modern western vaccine Pfizer is "significantly less" efficient against the Delta variant the same as Sinovac.

Thanks, I have read that article once or twice before.  The Pfizer shot vs. Delta variant shows a 64% efficacy.  I’d still prefer Pfizer to the SinoVac any day.

AZ is a western vaccine. But they are not able to make it in sufficient quantities by themselves. Which however has not stopped them to make great promises to whole ASEAN who are the victims now.

Are you sure that it is AZ making the promises? Think about it for at least a second...

There are just too much racial prejudice for Sinovac and the amount of misinformation is clouding the Thai government and people in making sensible decision making. We in a vaccines deficit world and all vaccine can contribute to reducing the risk of symptomatic and severe cases of Delta.

Researchers analysed the Delta infections in Guangzhou and results based on blood samples showed a threefold reduction in neutralizing effect against Delta. Malaysia and Singapore have approved Sinovac in their fight against the pandemic.

The misinformation for Sinovac is no different from the antivaxer misinformation in red states USA..

Nope, certainly not. They just licensed it to Somchai ????. And then it all happened.

The misinformation for Sinovac....

Sinovac is based on an inactivated virus from the original Wuhan outbreak. Thus it is effective against that strain, but not against the mutations. Like every year flu mutations the vaccine would have to be updated/modified. Same effect we see with for instance Pfizer (Israel numbers).

Bloomburg Survellance & other International Media outlets have also picked up on this Reckless behaviour.

It’s a great experiment—to see how long they can hold out—without a western vaccine.  So far, they’ve held out about six months, and maybe they can get up to one year…

They're certainly not blinking, nor looking like they will any time this year.

Which part did you miss? There is not enough vaccine for even 5% of the population. Everything else is a smokescreen.

Ugh. The whole point is it significantly reduces the chance of serious illness and hospitalisation. It's called science.

The government appears good at issuing restrictions and controls.

But lousy at getting people vaccinated. So the people are getting punished for the total government failure.

Why aren't they saying they are doing a huge vaccination push and those getting vaccinated will be entered in a million baht lottery? Oh, you have to have the shots and a system for getting them in arms. Maybe the government can sub it out to their buddies in the Chinese government.

The PM is a lunatic, on one had he saying tighter restrictions close more businesses,  Thai,s are not obeying the Grand Master, get tested every 3 to 5 at your expense they are struggling even to afford to buy food for there families, pay there bills and this imbecile thinks they have money to buy test kits.

And the on the other hand the Grand Master wants to open more Sandboxes for him and his bagmen to fill there pockets because the Sandboxes are immuned to everything else happen around them apparently, unfit to be in public office disgraceful man

Vaccinated people can still get infected. In Thailand 677,348 medical personnel who received 2 doses of Sinovac, 618 became infected. The study from Stanford U on mRNA vaccines on health workers reviewed that out of 21,729 vaccinated workers, 189 got reinfected. As for this Thai case, she passed away 7 days after being vaccinated from heart attack and she was on diet pills. The jury still out there on her cause of dealt.

The other 172 were family, friends, or so, or related to higher positions and so free to do what they like

Export? You also missed the latest info, Thailands sole AZ producer said they cannot deliver the 61 million doses they promised to Thailand. Let the rest of ASEAN alone.

I have no idea as to what this 'cut & paste' reply has to do with your initial claim of racial prejudice.

Stay focussed...you are drifting.

He doesn't need to be fit he was a 2 bit general that conned the rest of the military into overthrowing an elected civilian government

just wait a new more dangerous virus coming making all current vaccines useless what then?

You can not ask people to stay home and expect it to work, arrest, lock up, public flogging will have the desired effect, the Red Zone measures were not enough and these few numb skulls are the scapegoats for a now tougher lockdown, i would be embarrassed if i were Pm to announce we have to now totally destroy the economy because his government cant stop a few going out in curfew.
