A friend of mine received something similar and there was no way to remedy the situation.  But then a day later he got an email with a link in which he could upload his visa info into his application.

 

If you never get that link you can try a new email addy coupled with leaving one digit off your passport number although I am not recommending this option.

I just received the same rejection email with the same reason for the rejection. The problem when I registered was the website would only accept 1 photo so they received my passport photo but not my Visa photo, thus the rejection.

I tried to re-register using a different email address but that didn't work as the webpage said my details had already been used!

The site still only accepts 1 photo so when I tried to re-register I downloaded an app to combine the 2 required photos but as I said above, the system wouldn't allow a re-registration.

Now what do we do?

If the real goal is protecting the health of Thai citizens and we may be carriers why should passport or visa even be necessary ?

 

Folks are hardly going to turn up twice or have 2 valid passports used to get a jab.

 

If people have overstayed missed 90 days surely that is a matter for immigration not relevant to protecting US and THEM !!

 

I feel it may all be smoke and mirrors and a publicity stunt ,to offload old Sinovac , sell good stuff to friends, feed foreign media, or am I too cynical?

 

Is there any other country that needs such stuff not GET just register.

 

I have no problem showing valid ID and Visa or even paying for a jab but this is beyond incompetent and if done to Thais in USA would be seen as what it is RACISM.

The system will accept the registration if you leave one digit off your passport number with a different email addy..

 

When I registered with Phyathai last month I was copying and pasting so fast that my passport number was truncated on the form and i had no problem getting the jab.  That was accidental but a friend who was in your boat did the above workaround.

Have received the same rejection due to lack of visa information.  I had the same problem as others in trying to upload 2 photos so just did the passport info page.

 

Have now re-registered with a new email and by dragging and dropping in both photo's at the same time.  The photo upload worked but the registration was rejected as the combination of name and passport had already been used.

 

So have now removed a letter from my name and registered successfully.  Will now wait for an email telling me my name is incorrect!

I was able to register again just now- however I still failed to see anything about photos or extension of stay page

As this seems to be the thread. I got an invitation now from EXPATVAC so the government page for this Thursday BNH Bangkok.

As I got my Pfizer yesterday I try to decline, but nothing to decline ???? 

 

But that is good news they sending out now appointments.

Got the same email for same reason today,  will hope to get the email alluded to allowing visa page, ext. of stay stamp, to be sent in.  Will watch this post for updates by users on their experiences.

I still don't know how to drag and drop both at once into the alloted space.  Are both files dragged at the same time:? How is that done.

Which site did you use? thailandintervac does not require the extra documentation.

It never only accepted one photo versus not knowing how to use a computer. You had to upload them at the same time - hold control then click on/select the two files, then upload them.

I was able to upload 2 photos to the form, twice.  Once for me and the other for my wife.   I think I clicked on both photos and dragged and dropped at the same time.  But can't remember.  Still haven't seen an email from them though., so maybe that's good right now.

I used thailandervac.com.  But strange, received rejection from expatvac

Having worked in IT for 40 years I would safely say that these system generated emails are being sent out due to a programming (Idiot Behind the Machine) error. We are all very aware what kind of disaster we are in for when the locals are working on the computer!!!

But looking back- I think I also registered on expatvac-  and that's where I got the rejection.  So wait and see if thailandintervac works-

That is not normal and a bug in the system of course. Another one, if I remember well, is with the calendar popping up in Thai rather than in English, where you enter your birth date. Enough to discourage people away, I think.

Did you register with ExpatVac? If you have a retirement visa you may have received this email saying your application has been declined. I’m told the @MFAThai

Despite all their assurances to the opposite, and desperately poncing vaccines from anyone who will give them (they are even begging them off Bhutan for crying out loud) they ( the government) are absolutely sticking to their very clear policy of only vaccinating Thai nationals, and it is clear friends, family and "good people" first.
