No, no double standards, yes, different standards for customers.   Private companies can decide who they allow in as customers, nothing to do with government relaxing Covid restrictions.    The govern

The world as we knew it is over.

As always, inconsistent application of the rules, and very confusing policy from the so called leaders.

Private businesses are allowed to make their own rules about who they let in.

But who would eat at Fuji anyway...

Might they be making judgements about specific people?

Based on I don't know what?

Perhaps obvious family groups can eat together?

Thais vs. fill in the blank?

Manner of dress?

Enquiring minds ....

Actually it wasn't. It was never made official.

Whatever persuaded you that works, that's a good thing.

I ate lunch in the Fugi in Big C Extra yesterday, nothing about vaccines was asked or said to me (although I am fully vaxed and carry the proof if needed).  Like many places in Thailand, when it comes to policies; experiences will vary depending who's working, the customer, the time of day, etc.

Is Fuji food worth it?

That would suggest that a certain element of members here won't be eating out much if they ( at some point in the future ) have to provide proof/evidence of being vaxed, one proudly told us yesterday that he had survived for nearly 2 years without being vaxed and said he would never get vaxed, I hope he can cook & likes his own food ????????????

555, I do.  I'm not suggesting Fuji is fine dining but come on. Where do you eat when in Pattaya?

Well because I'm getting Astra Zenica I won't be fully jabbed until late October as the gap is three months. Personally I don't plan to eat out at all until after that but I might make a few exceptions such as for outdoor dining. My choice rather than about their policies.

A conspiracy theory?  Only for tin-hat nutters!  It's common-sense for others. Proof of vaccination seems entirely reasonable for a business where people need to sit close to others.

I never had Sushi in Pattaya (just saw that this here is the Pattaya forum), but at least here in Chiang Mai we have various places that are better and cheaper than Fuji, there are probably some in Pattaya as well.

It doesn't matter what the rules are.

If there are double standards openly on display  vote by taking your Wallet elsewhere, where you are made welcome.

Its so easy to do, and the Food will probably be better anyway.

No, no double standards, yes, different standards for customers.   Private companies can decide who they allow in as customers, nothing to do with government relaxing Covid restrictions.    The government cannot demand to whom Fuji extends their service!

There are no government rules about who private companies have to allow in.  "The leaders" were not involved in the OP's alleged not being allowed to dine in.

I have to query your story???????
I ate there today at about 2.30pm..3 people at my table.
Was greeted at the door with menus and where would you like to sit.
Quite a few other tables occupied (4 people, 2 people, 3 people with a baby)
