The minister commented that the Summit for Democracy is considered a new international politics platform spearheaded by the United States, adding that in some cases, not being invited is more beneficial.

And a whole lot less embarrassing.

Actions speak louder than words, Mr. Sangrat.

Don't shoot the messenger.

Poor guy is spokesman, but was instrumental in getting vaccine for farangs when it looked like we weren't part of the masterplan.

Delusional in their concept of what democracy actually means in reality

Yet, know one knows. As it's not truly practiced anywhere in the world.

A more astute inquiry might be to ask: What type or version of false Democracy?

To become a real democracy , Thailand first has to learn to respect the results of an election . And not to block with unfair methods the opposition party that got a lot of votes ( FF ) , and not to put their own unelected cronies in powerful positions , and not to amend a constitution just to ensure to stay in power , and not to suppress demonstrations against the government that , after all , have a good reason ...

And not to use the Covid emergency just to control the population with new and illogical rules that mostly favor the government only .

No surprise they have not been invited , a slap in their face that they lost a long time ago already ...

No beers today because another election here. Friend taking day off work to return to the village and vote. Loves democracy?

No. 300 baht for voting the right way.
