Yes. I think he is being sincere. And I tend to agree. The RTP was created to ensure no politician or civil servant could hide surplus income and hence would distribute it, usually via the RTP.  To root out corruptio would destroy its raison d'etre.  Any attempt will be as successful as passing a law saying traffic should stop at red lights.

Sadly Pol Col Bowonphop Sunthornrekha, historically the RTP have failed over the years to be both Transparent and Honest in its dealings with the Public and especially regarding investigations .

While I am sure that this Investigation will not only be be Open and Honest and Justice will be seen to be done, I would sau, it is because an RTP officer is involved., had it been just another rider speeding , doubtful.

I don't think he will walk away completely as it was a respected Doctor that was killed, but had it been someone very poor then no doubt the victim would have been at fault.
