As my old mum used to say "Talk is cheap, actions speak louder than words"!

"It's not what you say you are, but what  you do that defines you!"

And I bet he said that with a straight face.

That’s why they’re so keen on masks - it helps when they can’t keep a straight face ..

If there is no cover-up, let's see the video from the cross walk cameras, that shows the moment of impact! Release the video to all news media and let's see what public thinks about the RTP and their lack of enforcing traffic laws.

This matter is not just about one accident, it's also about the entire RTP. If the RTP had been their job, this person probably would still be alive today. Shame on RTP and shame on that Police Chief.

Also that bike was supposed to be in a police impound. Is the person who released the bike also going to be charged?

Local village,  you can't get a BiB to come unless you offer petrol money.

Definitely fair.

they are thailand's strongest foundation that supports its curruption.

Family will get justice at their discretion dependent on family influence of the policeman or the deceased.

Yes. I think he is being sincere. And I tend to agree. I think the ivory tower consciousness, the extreme wealth of these creeps, the sycophantic behavior of their subordinates, and their positions instill within them a (false) sense of high importance, very high intelligence, extreme capability, and all seeing wisdom. I honestly think they believe their own nonsense. That is what makes them so dangerous and so damaging to Thailand.

Agree with you, and that is really the worrying part, because if they believe that, then there is no need for the RTP to have a good look at itself and get rid of endemic corruption.

The RTP was created to ensure no politician or civil servant could hide surplus income and hence would distribute it, usually via the RTP.  To root out corruptio would destroy its raison d'etre.  Any attempt will be as successful as passing a law saying traffic should stop at red lights.

Or you know what your talking about

Must be a Bieber fan?

Scrupulously fair RTP. A bit like saying Justin Bieber is the most talented singer in history. Or, the Chinese government is the most open and transparent. Or North Korea is a kind and generous nation. Or Trump was truthful. Or Anutin has been an effective health minister. Or Prayuth is a good leader.

Or any politician was truthful. There, corrected it for you, now it doesn't look so biased.

That is a very disdurbing statement by RTP, do they honestly believe that? What planet are they from?

How does a police lance corporal afford a 'Ducati monster'?

Yes, yes, I thoroughly agree with you Dr. Kratai......erhm but I still want a lawyer, maybe two would be better.

So when does this new policy come into (the) force ?

Any respect they may have had many years ago is totally gone now.

No way back without a big broom but then, how do they amass their millions ?

Any wagers that the poor doctor will be pronounced dead because of Covid, Lance corporal goes free.

Joke… this guy will walk .. well, he will speed away

Sadly Pol Col Bowonphop Sunthornrekha, historically the RTP have failed over the years to be both Transparent and Honest in its dealings with the Public and especially regarding investigations .

While I am sure that this Investigation will not only be be Open and Honest and Justice will be seen to be done, I would sau, it is because an RTP officer is involved., had it been just another rider speeding , doubtful.

After two decades here, I gave learnt that to QUESTION Police actions is counter productive, even when they are blatantly wrong , sorry ! I  hear what you say but reality is completely different.

The mere fact he has to say such a thing like that they are 'fair and truthful' just highlights the reality is far from either.

Surely the assailant has confessed by now and it's a shoe horn into the Hilton, why does it take so long.

Ordinary citizens would be already incarcerated by now.

I don't think he will walk away completely as it was a respected Doctor that was killed, but had it been someone very poor then no doubt the victim would have been at fault.

What will be presented to the public as to his fate will often be very different to what actually happens.
