The OP asked the question 'why do men like ladyboys' Then came posts from people who seem to have a chip on their shoulder because they have homosexual tendencies and appear to be seeking to excuse them.

 

If you're gay or bi, what's the problem?  In Thailand, as with most Western countries, its quite acceptable to be gay in 2022.  There are those who will call you names and on rare occasions go further but generally, homosexuality is accepted today. Don't try to deny your orientation by suggesting straight people must have gay tendencies to even make comments on this thread.

 

However, although your sexual orientation is generally accepted, don't seek to smear those who feel uncomfortable with it.  For me its each to his own but if I  go to a bar or club and guys are behaving in openly gay way - I'm outta there. You have to understand that whilst your sexual orientation is far more acceptable these days, it is not something that many straight people want to either see or have detailed knowledge of.

 

The question asked by the OP illustrates the fact that some straight people, whilst understanding and accepting that a portion of the population have non standard sexual orientations, find it difficult to understand why someone is attracted to a male that creates the illusion of being female.

  Yes you can say and identify to be what ever you choose but nature, biology, science and genetics unfortunately say different. Thats the truth people dont like it and will fight tooth and nail to argue the opposite but thats it.

 You can identify as a <deleted> labrador for all i care but if you need medical treatment you wont be going to a vet and when you do get treated after a couple of very simple tests you will be treated as what you were born as.

There's nothing hard to understand, it's more that people are disagreeing.  What is on the ID card, it isn't really relevant.  I understand that it's very important for you to be able to call certain people gay or bisexual for some reason, therefore you need to be able to say "He's a man!  He's a man!" but I would suggest that it is more complex than that.

 

If someone has "male" written on their ID card, that doesn't change the fact that if they appear to be a woman, and someone wishes to engage in sexual activity with them while considering them a woman, it is difficult to claim outright that that person is gay or bisexual.

Well, funnily enough, biology might actually go against you here.  Because sexual desire is basically a subconscious urge, even if someone consciously knows that a person has "male" written on their ID card, if they view them as being a woman, if they appear to be a woman to them, even if they know they are biologically a man, then they think, sexually, that they are a woman, or at least have a woman's body.

 

Another example of this would be a biological woman that has had breast implants.  You could know that they are fake, even see a picture of the woman before the operation, but your eyes still see big boobs and you become sexually attracted to that woman more so than you would have done if she still had smaller boobs.  Consciously, you know they are fake and do not show that she is young and fertile, but subconsciously, your mind is thinking the opposite.  (And this is generally what happens, so please don't waste our time by saying you/some men prefer small boobs.)

 

I know you're trying to make it so that an individual's perception is completely discounted (while yours is authoritative), but I don't believe that to be the case.

I don't think anyone is 'desperate' to label anyone - its just a descriptor.  What I do think is it seems that some have a chip on their shoulder and deny they are gay or bi - as if its derogatory.

 

Straight men are not sexually attracted to other males - if they are they're not straight.  The fact that that male may purport to be female makes no difference - its a male.

 

I really don't see the problem in 2022 - call it a label, call it what you want, there's no reason to be ashamed.

I don't see the relevance of their biological sex.  If people see them as being woman, that's what is important in terms of sexuality.

We're not discussing "other males", so I don't really see the relevance of this.  We're talking about ladyboys, which people generally consider to be "a woman with a penis".

 

Perhaps you could ask someone who enters into relationships with ladyboys whether they would do the same with a normal standard man.  Presumably the answer to that question would tell you something about their sexuality.
