Sanook Thai Caption: The "Sky" came crashing down

 

Sanook reported on the unfortunate experiences of a German tourist who expected to find his girlfriend Fah (Sky) waiting for him.

 

Instead of him giving her a big surprise he got one himself. 

 

Their condo was in a right mess with used and unused condoms and men's boxer shorts all over the place. 

 

There was no sign of Fah who had disappeared along with the tourist's beloved Ducati bike and its registration book.

A registration book for a Vespa had also gone AWOL. 

 

Mathias A., 41, turned to the media to try and find his missing motorcycle - registration plate 2 กง (gor ngor) 7551.

Speaking through an interpreter Mathias offered a 10,000 baht reward.

 

He said that he met Fah online and pre-pandemic they lived together in the condo in Soi Rajchawaroon, Pattaya.

He would come and go every three months and even took his girlfriend to Germany for three months. 

 

The pandemic scuppered his regular visits but now he intended to give her a big surprise arriving on May 30th. 

 

What he found was the room with things strewn all over the place and even lubricating jelly. 

 

Worse still - a safe was forced open and two gold rings were missing.

Mathias went to the Pattaya police and Lt-Col Saijai Khamjanla contacted Fah who said she was in Kalasin in the NE and that the bike was with her elder brother in Chanthaburi.

 

She promised to get it returned by June 1st.

 

That clearly hasn't happened and now Mathias is appealing for help to get his beloved bike back.

 

And pressing charges against his girlfriend. 

 

The story is being reported right across Thai media.

Well he may have returned to find no girlfriend but at least he didn't return to find a "Used girlfriend" unlike the condoms ???? The lubricating jelly found I assume was needed in order to loosen the locks on his Ducati perhaps ?  Mind you we don't really know the full story hear do we, only one side of it and as he stated he would come and go every three months so I suppose after this discovery he doesn't know if he is coming or going ????

She's only a few days late.  The Red Bull brat postponed a visit to the police for many weeks before disappearing.

Um.......if I was Herr Mathias I would have weighed up the value of the bike, the rings, and damage to condo and ego against the cost of public embarrassment and media notoriety, and remain silent, and considered the experience a somewhat inexpensive lesson in life

Not surprised.

His choices in life seem to gravitate towards things well known for unreliability. 

Both the Pattaya girl, and the Ducati.

Not to mention the giant pecker shaped long pillow. Fah was clearly unsatisfied.

9 out of 10 times.  You just cant leave them alone too long.  It's a promiscuous culture, and many are driven by greed not a future.

Ain't love great.

What a naive bloke, he actually thought she would be loyal in all that time, while in Pattaya? To leave registration books and bikes at the place that long, even more foolish.

There is always new suckers, no wonder the scams and lies never end.

It seems she is not actually guilty of anything.....yet.

It would seem she had his permission to access and use those items.

Once returned, lesson learned, hopefully!

 

The sex thing, who says it was her, could've been the brother and his gf. All speculation.

it is theft and police should be treating it as such unless of course it is not registered in his name

I had many bad Thai girl experiences, I just make sure to be smarter and in control, so not a victim. Seems many arrive here but forgot to pack brains.

 

Maybe it helped that I lived half of my adult life here and 1/3rd of my life, now 30.

I wouldn't dispute that but this story could and does happen all over the world. Not sure why all the Thai bashing is going on and the reference to incest is out of order.

Are you new here? I do not think so. Be real, this happens crazy a lot in Thailand, even more locally with Thais. To say it is only with foreigners is indeed untrue.
